Since I was younger than yourself, I have only been in one other (Joondalup) that was a 10th of the size of the one we had (close to a fair size Myer - 3 levels)
It’s been so many different shops but was the place to get everything

I went today paid $10 for ‘fried rice’ from china bar the shit was farken normal rice with a bit of egg & veggies mixed through there was clumps of rice together and it was shite. I had 3 spoonfuls and chucked that utter shit out.

Before that I’m walking through, I have a huge fear of vomit, you know what I see? A lady gagging into a bag I walk faster.

Award winning is interesting. Haven't had many 'award winning' pies that I really liked.

Did have a jumbo chunky beef pie from Rolling Pin Pies and Cakes yesterday and it was a damned fine dogs eye. Apparently Australian pie of the year in 2020.

Finally got sample Kermond’s burgers in Warrnambool last week. Pretty good but was expecting more. Still hard to beat Andrew’s for best ever burger with the lot.

Finally got sample Kermond’s burgers in Warrnambool last week. Pretty good but was expecting more. Still hard to beat Andrew’s for best ever burger with the lot.

My confession is that I have had one Kermond’s burger this side of the year 2000 and the previous one would have been in the early 80s. The last one I had was good, but I admit, it wasn't quite what I remembered. The ones from the 80s and earlier might be remembered by me the same way you'd remember your first girlfriends - soft, juicy and very tasty. The Kermond’s burgers we ordered were egg, cheese and double bacon. The bacon was what made them stand out, and the fact that the meat was flat (adding to the earlier metaphor), squashed down with the cement trowel into the chopped onions.
