Gumby caption thread

I just realised I have probably posted a good 50 Gumby photos over the journey in my attempt to slaughter a name that should go down in history as an embarrasment, in much the same way as 2121 already has. So I thiught I would get this thread going, and it may last a long, long time. Basically, I will post a picture relating to the Gumbies and you, the SFA faithful, simply have to quote the picture, and write a caption to go with it. Whenever I feel like it, I will post a new picture. Before I do, I will choose the winning caption and post it on this post, so soon, we will have a big collection of Gumby photos and captions.

Give the Gumby bashing a rest mate, it's getting very boring. 99% of the competition doesn't care that you don't like the Gumbies and the repeated bashing is falling on deaf ears.

The Gumbies obviously don't care enough to respond back to this so-called "rivalry" that you are trying to build so you're wasting your time. Perhaps you should lay off the Gumbies before you start to become a target yourself.

I think you should be focusing on getting off the bottom of the ladder rather than sledging a club that finished more than a game above you.

Thanks for the advice, but na. I think you will find that 99% of the competition that don't play for the gumbies would agree with me. Plus with a mascot like that, there are just so many good photos. I just want a place where we can all share the hate together

Okey I'm starting to agree with Ljp here the SFA "Rivalry" that you are determined to make is just not happening. Your the only demon that has posted in this thread and this is about the 4th thread you've started bagging the Gumbies Mascot AGAIN!

WE get it you don't like the Gumbies doesn't mean the whole of the Demons are with you.

When the Gumbies get a name change then I will be happy, and I am serious about that. Then there will be no need for the threads bagging them. It is a fact of life, they are an embarrasment, and should feel embarrased.

I still think this thread had potential, but like Timmy's English, not everything you try works.

My posting has improved Okey unlike your attempts to start something that nobody cares about. I'll defintly learn from your mistakes and hopefully when the time comes to post a thread it's actually worth while and not plain stupid. .

Meh, this thread could have worked if people were creative enough, but it relied too heavily on other people's intellect.

It's only to the intrest of Gumbies and Dees player's and yet it struggles to attract them which says to me the rivalry never will work.
