Agreed - Patton is the 'slow burn' piece of Leon's plans for September, Jon is just getting a bit better every week.

Amazing how far the players have come from the first few years and being on the receiving end of 10 goal + losses to dishing them out
Poor effort around the ground by the Suns, injury problems severely depleting the best 22 and also the development of others. Don't want them to lose quality players to the vic clubs and put in an improved performance next season
Good to see improvement in Pattons game still waiting for a bag of goals from him
Shiel slowly building into the season, can see him having a massive back end to the season. Could it be a aerobic fitness thing with him and adjusting to the reduced interchange cap? Any idea on his time on ground last season compared to this?
Agree with others saying Williams best game, improved decision making

Spoke with Jon Patton after the match (article link below pic) Really pleased to see him contribute and progress quietly,but solidly after his awful ACL injuries. Couldn't meet a nicer bloke. The boys are playing some exciting footy and cannot wait for the GWS v Dogs game on Sunday should be an absolute beauty.

• Just a few snaps from Saturday's game. Hopper what a debut, the backline continues to impress. Heath Shaw is simply awesome. Great to see Tim Mohr back after a long out. Jezza's 7 goals. Cogs, Cal, Dylan and Sculls unbelievable.. I'm sorry they can talk all they want about North & the Dogs, but IMHO the Greater Western Sydney Giants are playing the most entertaining footy at the moment in the AFL.​
