Nearly 2 years and not a game yet. Must be starting to get concerned???

What?

He will be at least another pre-season before he is ready.

How many 200cm 19 year old KPF's are ready to have an immediate impact?

He's deflecting because people worked out Doedee is a s**t hack.

The twins don't even turn 20 until the end of December. They have a long way to go yet.

I expect they will both debut next season, but they probably won't be fully ready until 2019.

Schache, Hipwood, Weideman have all played games. Just because you have the twin brother doesn't mean you need to stick up for Harry

Brisbane and Melbourne are playing every kid they have.

Carlton (Casboult & Weitering) and North (Brown & Waite) have more physically mature personnel.

You'd still expect him to get a game during a rebuild when other blokes no where near ready are getting games

Either twin would be getting a game in your mobs forward line, and that's not an exaggeration.

Carlton arguably have a worse forward line, Levi is their only forward and jack shits all over him. There is no reason why McKay shouldn't be getting a game under current circumstances

Schache isn't playing senior footy at the moment. Weideman isn't either after 3 goals from his 6 games this year, despite Hogan missing; and Hipwood, who looks like one out of the box, just kicked a solitary goal in a 10 goal thrashing from a team McKay's club beat a couple of weeks ago.

Why would that concern any Carlton supporter?

He only played two games last year - all year.

He is a 200cm 100kg young tall forward and needs time. Running patterns, using your body. He is getting closer every week just hasnt put it together yet for a big game. Jack Silvagni played as much games in VFL before being promoted but he was kicking 2-3 goals + 15 posessions every game

Harry is close you can see him getting there... he is around 10 possessions and 1.5 goals could have had four goals last week.

Not to defend his s**t call regarding Harry McKay but Weideman earned his debut game, wasn't a case of "playing every kid we have".

Just because they have a poor forward line doesn't mean they need to throw out a kid who is not ready for AFL footy yet in a key position.

Look at Melbourne for example, we've given Weideman 3 games this year when we could have had him in for every game Hogan missed but he wasn't completely ready. He's been left to develop in the VFL and kicked 6 yesterday despite us having a spot in the forward line for the last month and a bit with Hogan missing.

The VFL is just a better place for young key position players in particular to develop, they get to play against men without anywhere near the amount of pressure they face at AFL level.

Zach Sproule. Started with back to back 5 goal hauls, had a 25 possesion 3 goal game up fwd, was then thrown on ball at 197cm and had 34 and 35 possesion games, also has been getting 7-8 clearances when playing on ball. Last game played in defence, kid can do anything.
He was one I was annoyed we didn't bid on. Was shocked that he got completely overlooked in the ND tbh.

Seeing that we 6th in goals scored and points for despite being only 14th in inside 50's, I think that you have indeed made quite the exaggeration.

Our forward line has been quite efficient and a 20 year old with 0 games to his name wouldn't help at all. Remarkably ignorant comment.

The comment was made to a supposed Richmond supporter.

Open your eyes.
