Assuming Hawks get O'Meara, T.Mitchell & Vickery as these seems to be the guys we're into, Hill goes out for draft picks to be used on the ins, and Roughead is still out then who lines up for Hawthorn Rd 1. 2017?

Vickery is a ruck/fwd. I would never of thought to send him down back. Also a big no to taking boomer.
Interesting when i look at that team i see no sicily and hurting are they traded? if not i can't see them fitting into that team. Maybe hartung could be tradeable after all. Sicily though hmmmmm still such a tough team to break into.

Played some reserves then had an scope on his knee.

No reason he couldn't play next year if his knee looked ok.

Assume he shut his year down after testing his knee as he wanted out, if we pick him up I would expect him to be no bigger risk than Burton or Burgoyne

The good thing is that we've given Burton a taste of AFL action just so he experiences that level of footy and we can all see where he's at, but realistically I'd include him as a new recruit for next year's team.

So that's Burton and O'Meara, two BIG inclusions into the lineup for 2017, and we haven't even hit the trade period yet. I'm hoping there's more GUN action to come.
