Heeney is a superstar, Grundy is exceptional


gulden is safety first with his kicks, but better than butchering it, that last long kick was great

Warner is in and out of games too tbh

Rowbottom had a nice patch but largely just tackles.


Papley forward was a spark at times, but then he jogs around barely chasing.

Blakey gets pushed back and his effort dies

Jmac was ok. Sheldrick was ok, Jordon was ok

Florent looked shit , Lloyd looked awful unless he was forward he looked ok, but ended deep back.

They look so much bigger than us .

Mills was ordinary , not saying he wasn’t, just he isn’t a complete shit captain now.

Melican just had a pile of slight flankers to help him.



Our big problem is McLean, he plays from behind and can’t even bring it to ground, even Buller did that better

Simply not enough skills wise to win. The Dogs were very good and I think we beat a lot of teams tonight on our efforts but not them.

I do think the horrible ground hurt us a lot in the last quarter. One of our best modes of scoring is coming out of defence, but they couldn't run it out of there because they were on ice skates. Something has to be done. It's embarrassing for the competition and the ground staff need to be held accountable.

I was disappointed Mills didn't stand up at all after giving them a goal in the last quarter. Reminded me of Davis leaving Hunt on the Doco and Kirk telling him he owed us. Only Mills needed to tell himself.

Disappointing to lose - but I do find it a bit hard to criticise players for skill errors & slipping over on a ground that was a disgrace.

There is no way an AFL game should be played under those conditions.

We just don't have a forward line that will make the opposition pay. Shame about McDonald's injury as you feel it could have been a real growth year for him.
