It was good to hear the cfmeu actually did something productive yesterday when Dan threatened to lockdown the construction industry. Apparently they threatened if the public projects shutdown, all so called critical state run infrastructure jobs closed down as well. We are all in this together…….as long as Dan isn’t inconvenienced!

I actually used the above argument on a semi anti-vaxxer friend the other day.

Me: It's counterproductive to their plan. Why the **** would they want to be left with nothing but non compliant people? It doesn't make any sense.

One of my kids had pneumonia 4 times in his first year of life (and survived). He constantly has and had a runny nose throughout his 18 years. How is he suppose to do anything nowadays. Does he lock himself away now forever...because he honestly would have never done anything over the last few years if he followed the symptoms advice to the letter of the law (he's been tested 3 or 4 times and always been neg). It's always dodgy if he goes to work. It's such a shitty situation for some people to be in. He probably doesn't do everything he can though...nasal sprays etc. to reduce symptoms as much as possible...if it worked so he is partly to blame. But still he would feel like diseased person every time he ventures out.

You could try getting a doctor to sign something to indicate that level of runny nose is chronic.

- the speaker (an emergency specialist and educator) thinks the WHO recommended no booster until everyone has vaccination opportunities (ie third world) is better but realistic enough to concede rich countries going to be short sighted/ selfish
