One of my kids had pneumonia 4 times in his first year of life (and survived). He constantly has and had a runny nose throughout his 18 years. How is he suppose to do anything nowadays. Does he lock himself away now forever...because he honestly would have never done anything over the last few years if he followed the symptoms advice to the letter of the law (he's been tested 3 or 4 times and always been neg). It's always dodgy if he goes to work. It's such a shitty situation for some people to be in. He probably doesn't do everything he can though...nasal sprays etc. to reduce symptoms as much as possible...if it worked so he is partly to blame. But still he would feel like diseased person every time he ventures out.

Essential for the economy. Hundred of thousands of government dollars per day in costs to run even when put on standby. Our Vic economy has become pretty reliant on major infrastructure too, literally thousands of support business too, not just tier 1 contractors.

Edit: also I'm sure there would be some interesting contractual stuff going on with these projects, most of them are backed by global firms, I wonder what the Laywers are getting up to behind the scenes. There are all sorts of monetary triggers tied in project delivery etc. Seems like a nightmare to navigate

It also depends on the type you are arguing with, if someone doesn't want the jab because they back their health in, I don't really have an answer, nor is it a CT - just their own choice. I'm not a medical expert so I can't use mumbo jumbo science to change their mind.

Limit movement, limit contact, reduce the ability for the virus to spread, get tested straight away if exposed or have even the minor of symptoms, isolate as soon as you're found to be positive or are waiting for a test result, and most of all don't be a selfish clueless d***head having a public tantrum. It's not too difficult to understand .... well for some of us anyway.

Victoria police say they arrested 218 people at today’s anti lockdown protest.

Six police officers were hospitalised. Two with broken noses, one with a broken thumb and others with concussion.

Police said in a statement the majority of the estimated 4,000 demonstrators “came with violence in mind”.

“The behaviour seen by police was so hostile and aggressive that they were left with no choice but to use all tactics available to them,” the statement said.
