The LC is pulling an all nighter :eekv1:.

Can be summed up so far by dopey Crozier and Davis asking stupid questions illustrating they haven't read the Bill and are just trying delay tactics; Bev next to them peddling misinformation and ridiculous hypothetical conspiracies; Limbrick crying about being a member of the persecuted political class because he didn't want to show his vaccine certificate; while that idiot Cummings goes on anti-vax rants not knowing the difference between state and federal matters (she went on about medicare forms for vaccine exemptions at one stage) 🤦‍♂️

Completely inept opposition. How did they get this bad?

I wonder what the suicide stats will be for the next couple of weeks?

Not that those that endorse/condone Andrews on here will care. I'm just asking.
Probably no different to baseline. There was no significant change in the rate during lockdown

a question for michael kroger, marcus bastiaan and karina oketel me thinks

Would you take an answer from those religious lunatics seriously?

Imagine paying membership of an organisation and having
Kroger the repeated failure, who has seen the party go from responsible neo-liberal Government to an embarrassing rabble in his relatively short time at the helm.
- Bastiaan a typical religious zealot who has no ideology other than power
- Okotel who thinks she's never been wrong about anything and that the apocalypse is just around the corner and all you gays are going to get your just desserts.

Who would pay memberships to this organisation? Even the standard small business owners must be thinking "who are these nutbags in charge?"

If this is the opposition, the ALP couldn't possibly lose.

It's ironic that the more Bastiaan and Okotels Fundamentalist faction takes over the LNP, the more power it gives to the ALP to pass legislation which goes against fundamentalist ideology. Gays allowed out of the house without conversion therapy, same sex marriage, assisted dying. They must be praying for the apocalypse harder every day.

The more fundamentalist the conservatives become, the more anti-fundamentalist Victorians have become, and then the fundamentalists get more frothy and more power. It's an interesting virtuous reactionary cycle to watch.

Wasn’t it proven that the suicide number was slightly down
There was an increase of about 3% in 2020 on the previous 3 year average, so nothing hugely out of the ordinary. The greater concern would be the huge spike in ED admissions for self harm last year, as this is often a precursor for suicide in future years. Especially considering wait times for access to mental health services currently.
