Sometimes men-made laws are dumb (like going over a few ks in an already low speed limit such as 50kh) and it's obvious they're there for purposes (i.e revenue raising) other than the one they claim they're about (i.e saving lives).

Great post other then speeding laws being specifically targeted to making roads safer and not for revenue raising purposes.

Not the cops, they either pull you over and fine you or you’re golden. Mobile speed cameras on the other hand are extremely easy to spot on the highways and no one paying attention should ever get pinged by one.

On one hand, I kind of feel the same way; you should, if your eyes are good enough to drive, be able to spot the mobile cameras.

On the other, I bet all the people who get caught also thought they were good enough not to be.

99% of people don't obey the law, yet they all find a means of circumventing punishment. Only on social media do you find people who regularly vent about the 99% for no apparent reason.

That’s because you’re confusing mobile speed cameras operated by private companies for the government and police radars which can be set up anywhere at anytime and are not announced.

It’s the police radars which are most dangerous to sensible drivers, but they won’t bother you if you’re not more than 10ks over.

This is nothing to do with the right lane. It’s to do with your claim that you habitually breach speeding limits.

I don’t see how wanting to make roads safer by asking that people who chose to have a license then adhere to the conditions of that license is a left or right issue.
