This may seem harsh but I don't see a spot for Macaffer.
Don't see him as a forward like he was before tagging. Don't see him as a complete shutdown tagger. Would rather Crisp as a run with who gathers plenty of ball as well.

Re-invented himself once already and at worst is great depth

Yeah, is harsh and I only wish good things for Caff, but hard to see where he will fit if everyone is fit besides being useful depth.

Of course, everyone being fit is an unlikely state of affairs at any club for any length of time.

Just watched the old blackmores injury update. Only 4 blokes on it and 2 of them short term.:eek:

I might have missed it elsewhere, but have you provided a plausible explanation for your avatar?

Bastard luck that Ramsay drops off the map just as he comes good

So Ramsay's 'shin' injury, is it his tibialis anterior, flexor digitorum longus, the whole anterior group, tendinitis, his deep fibular nerve, compartment syndrome, what? WHAT?

'Shin' is frustratingly vague.

'Keep it frustratingly vague' is Balmes motto. He has it tattooed across his belly, Ben Cousins style.

So Ramsey is gone for the season then?

Meanwhile, Jackson Ramsay will see a surgeon this week as he attempts to overcome complications of a shin injury.

Balme stated that Ramsay's recovery had been "slower than expected" and future clarity will be gained on the injury during the week.

"He’s still having problems with the stress reaction to his shin. I know he’s seeing a surgeon this week and we’ll certainly get a bit more information on it," Balme said.

"He’s not in terrible condition but hopefully he’ll be playing soon. He’s medium term, even long term I think."

While Ramsay won't be available for selection, the match committee will decide Reid and Goldsack's fate on Thursday when they pick a team for Friday night’s blockbuster against the Hawks at the MCG

Put him on the lti promote abbott or even cox
Why? None of them would currently get a game in the seniors. Until their form warrants it, it's just a waste of an upgrade.

What is the point of all that deception. Others teams don't care if we are getting Ramsay back in 2 weeks or 15.
