Crows fans have a weird thing about salary. They seem to have somehow collectively deluded themselves into thinking that the only reason anybody wouldn't want to play for their club is because someone else was offering them significantly more money, and the amount always seems to get inflated by at least 100k over what gets reported in the media. If every Port player was on the cash that Crows fans claim they were on, we'd be about $4 million over the cap.

I still can't buy the idea that he is a monster for wanting to return home to be around his family and his mates, whilst still being employed in his chosen profession.

I know it sucks to lose a great player to the go home factor but all clubs will face this situation at some point. The better you run your club the less often you will lose a required player.
