Was detached from the field by 5 lengths the trip and brained them down the straight. Incredible turn of foot.

They can do that down there. They set such tempos where when it's a fair track horses can be made look superstars when really they just doing what would be considered "normal" tempo out the back. they've run 37s for the last 600 and about same time as the maidens which may point to the these horses are no good category.

If it cant beat that lot its completely and utterly done. Shocking training performance and placement.

Fitzpatrick plate an OK race every year so njot a write off but for mine none of his runs matched his last prep so in definite "cooked" territory if he maintains trajectory.

Seems a lot of the Ascot horses are putting in absolute stinkers, so maybe its just one of those tracks

It's ****ed, home ground advantage is huge because tempo mainly and warm day incl travel hurts.

Free Trade got rolled in same race last year at same price. 3 starts later in the main tracks was railway favourite.
