Absolutely no need to bring that up at all.

I don't think Chapman is equal to or better than Judd but I do think when he's up and going he is one of the best players in the comp, overall Geelong's most damaging and a little underrated.

Judd is the better player but I think a few teams would benefit from Chapman more than Judd.

Teams with good inside midfielders that don't have good ball users or small forwads might prefer Chapman.

Teams that I think would prefer Judd:
Collingwood, Fremantle

Teams I think would prefer Chapman:
Westcoast, Essendon

The rest are probably line ball and would therefore go for Judd the better player

And nope, I'd take Swanny, as he's a prolific ball winner (with more contested possessions than Judd this year, albeit 1 more) with greater efficiency than Judd this season.... it's not Judd/Swan vs. Chapman, so don't bring him into it.

Judd deserved that brownlow last year thru hard work. Glad the umpires saw fit to reward Juddy for a brilliant year. He deserved the brownlow before any other player in the afl for 2010.

Yes single handedly won games off his own boot, for instance watched his games in his first season at the blues in 2008, games against the dees, the eagles, the lions in particular.
He lifts them and gets the best out of them, as for full forward if you are referring to fev, well since his departure the blues are playing greater footy, and the likes of waite, scotland, murphy and gibbs have been with the club for 5 to 7 years without a final.
Then judd comes along, they lift themselves off the bottom and then a final before another and another by the early stages this year.
Yes judd single handedly has gotten through to the core of the team.

One game no matter the situation doesnt solidify a particular trait (eg game winner).


Micheal Jordan wasnt known as a game winner because he hit the game winner against Georgetown, he did it winning games throughout his entire game from his debut to his retirement.

Judd is known for those magical 4th quarters where the legends of the game come into their own.

Chapman is a good player, but dont outline him as a match winner when trying to differentiate the two because Judd will flog him above and beyond.

The only dumb one around here is you not handling a subjective opinion. Even pre the era of greatness down at Geelong, Chappy was never as effective as Judd. He was never given the hard tag as often or seen as the number 1 target to shut down, and he wasn't even close in terms of consistency. Judd is and always will be ahead of Chapman and that's no sledge because both are superstars.
