Only a couple of guys had numbers so outside of the the stand outs it was hard to tell who was who.

Higgins was very good.
As was JZ, Froggy, Spitter, R Clarke is going to be a champ.
Buff was good, Wood will be important, I like McKay he has a bit of C-Facter.

Our skill levels were poor today so I am hoping that improves.

Opponents were chopping and changing. He was often in good position but spilt marks and fumbles a bit today. Not his most impressive effort but ball wasn't down there enough to get a good gauge.

I must say his overhead marking is a little concerning.

Did you see who he was playing on?

Yep, a variety of opponents, but dropped marks when in prime position, got caught when he should have cleared & just lacked the urgency of someone fighting to break into the team. I was hoping for more.

I was there for 6/8ths on the far wing having a few frothies with a mate. What I took out from the match:
The match went as expected: Preuss serving it on a plate to Cunners and JZ, down to Waite and wood. Game over
Kicking efficiency was somewhere between 0% and minus 50%
JZ is going to surprise opposition players by swinging onto his right and bombing it 60m
The Rat got plenty of the ball, but didn't use it as well as I'd expected
MWilliams solid
Waite was one of the best, wood good and none of the other key position players did much
It's impossible to make out many of the players without numbers. Other than that, it looked like a swans gameplan with lots of numbers around the ball and quick exit from the contest. Brad has added the innovation to kick long to half forward and turn it over
Tackling looks to be much improved
