Holy shit, just got the new bravia 200hz tv and hooked up the ps3 with hdmi cables, This game just looks amazingly better.

Does anyone know what the verdict on the 200Hz TVs are? I was amazed when I first saw Sony advertising 200Hz LCD's.

i have tried every suggested fix to no avail

everything else on my network is fine

except this game

its annoying cos i am getting better at it - all the games i have been getting halfway through now my kill death ratio is close to 2:1 and i have a lot of ground to make up cos i started very very poorly at this game

have GG taken everyones money and run?

i went to log into killzone.com and even that website is now showing a bloody error !! M503 killzone command centre unvailable

guerilla games are pathetic - this is the worst gaming experience i have ever encountered

such a massive letdown and major annoyance

they better fix this very soon

there are a lot of angry people out there with this shitty issue

I'm still going fine, had a game right after you wrote the post to check it out and had a good 30-40 minute game that showed no signs of letting up(Finished just one kill behind my deaths(55k-56d), which was alright considering I was in a SHITHOUSE team, when I started we were getting stopped just outside our spawn points, that's how bad it was!).

Also if you read on the Killzone.com website it says "or the fact that the website has recently received a complete overhaul. We apologize for the inconvenience and will have the Killzone Command Center back online as soon as possible."

BigFooty has overloads and stops the site for non-members(Fairly often too I might add), yet you don't see anyone bitching about that, do you? It is just regular maintenance, all sites do it.

How can this be any worse than COD4 online anyway?

after that post i got 5 different errors

then played 2 games with no problems

and am now getting errors again

its so damn frustrating

ive come around and think the game is friggen sensational now - but at the moment it is damn near unplayable

and i have tried everything to fix these errors but nothing works

Knocked off about 3 and a half hours of campaign and I am in awe.

Every single thing that happens just amazes me that little bit more. This is going beyond good visuals here, Geurilla have gone to the very furthest levels of intracacy to create a game that is so life like it is not even funny.

Sure the controls are different, but thats all I'd day they are. They're not bad really, they're just different to games like COD. Within the first hour i had gotten used to them, and now its just about perfection.

Will hopefully be done campaign within the next couple of days, and then will see how my connection is faring. Hopefully the same as HBK's by the sound of things. Is it still possible to get an invite to the clan when I get on??

I was getting network errors for a couple of days then it went away. They were happening when I tried to join a game. Occassionally it will drop out tho as well. How long has this been going on for?

Would have been nice if I could see my ping, or some indication of it. Or can I? And its annoying when I shoot at someone, they kill me and about a second later I kill them. But I guess I'm getting the better of it so it shouldnt bother me.

ive had the game since release day and early on i had no problems at all

i think as time has gone on the problems have gotten gradually worse right up until being downright ridiculous this week where i can barely get through a complete game

i wish you could see ping as well - dont think you can

that delayed kill thing bugs me as well, but i often chuckle at the delayed double kills

I think I sent you an invite already, all you will need to do to accept it is to go to the Warzone menu, connect to online, and go to 'communication' and 'messages' and the invite should be in there, if not just send me a PSN message and I'll send another.

Played a few good games then. Not much fun when you're on the wrong side of a vicious ass raping though. 1-6 or 2-5 a few times in a row isn't awesome. Tharsis Depot is ridiculous right now though, the glitches on there need to be fixed.

1.21 Patch List​

• Increase of the standard points settings for Bodycount. Should ensure longer mode on heavily populated games.

• The return of Online Bots. Adding bots to an online game renders it ‘unranked’.

• The option to create unranked games. Players will be made aware that a game is unranked upon joining.

• Fix to Game Search functionality so correct maps are displayed.

• Standardization of the Y-Axis controls on the HGH Scout when zoomed with the Sniper Rifle.

• Fix to Sensitivity setting where the weapon animation did not follow the reticule correctly.

• Fix for auto-aim exploit when rapidly tapping zoom/fire.

• Fix to infrequent collision issues with C4 Proximity mines.

Yeah i was playing yesterday and had the connection drop out 4 times, first time it's happened to me and it annoyed the sh1t outta me. Hopefully the patch fixes it.

God damn it. Since i've reached the top rank, i'm just going for medals. Anyway, I had 3 or 4 kills with the dodgy air support, which is like a miracle, and it ******* disconnects.

I tryed to log in twice after that and it keeps coming up with an error. Looks like i'm going to have to sit back and wait for the patch.

Spoiler fuelled rant --> aaaaaarrrrgggghhh!! I'm at this motherfecking palace and I can't get through anywhere because theres about 21 milliion Higs running at me. I blew up the buildings and I (eventually) got into the palace so its just me and that useless Rico knob, and it doesn't matter how many times I kill everyone in the room from the second floor, they just keep on coming.

I literally spent over an hour to get through three checkpoints. I was hoping to be done about two hours ago. Is there a secret or do I have to keep on going??

If you're having too much trouble, you can just put the difficulty on easy.

Another tip - always stay on the balcony until you have to kill Radec. When the guys with rocket launchers come out on the stairs, run down the left hand side of the balcony and throw grenades at them (or whatever it takes to kill them as quick as you can). Apparently there is 24 grenades, so feel free to throw them into groups, should the situation arise.

2 hours and 7 minutes later I've finished Visari Palace and the game. Took me 10 hrs 20 mins, pretty rubbish, i know, but i'm just glad I finally did it.

Yes, the ending was rubbish, almost like the 10 hours was for nothing, and yes, I hate Rico with a burning passion, but I'm so damn relieved that I finally knocked it off.

I'll hit up some online tonight in about an hour, can't wait to see how it goes!!

The online is the best part. It's a bit of a bitch early on with very limited starting ammo and only a grenade, but earning those early ribbons for extra ammo and grenades will come quickly, as will the ranks.

Jumped back into this, this morning after finishing Resi last week / over weekend.

I gotta say.....I'm just not that into it.

Graphically I prefer Resi, it's just more my style.

After going back, I just didn't get wowed by the graphics as I did when I 1st turned it on.

Sure, the little details are there, but I dunno, it's not all its cracked up to be for me
