To be honest, HBK picks most of the stoushes with his ridiculous comments camo.

yeh i know...to a degree..

i mean i'm not exactly trying to "protect" him....he's more than capable enough of protecting himself

I got your PSN message caMo. Sorry I didn't reply, as I can't can't be stuffed typing it out with a controller. I still haven't had a disconnection yet. It's definitely a problem at your end I think.

You joined the game I was in, shot me in the head with a shotgun at point blank and then disconnected a minute later.

I was playing TDM so I could could get the 8 body count ribbons. I finally got them and now for every kill in body count, I get 2 points. It should help me level up a bit quicker. I'm 1 good conduct ribbon away as well (gives you extra starting ammo. You need 20+ kills and no suicides or team kills). In my last game I had about 25 kills, and with about a minute left, I suicided. All that work for nothing.

But this game is seriously awesome.

See...this is your problem HBK, and the reason why you come off as a bit of a nong. Yes getting team killed by idiots is frustrating, but a normal person would say something like...

"I'm starting to really hate team killers in games with friendly fire activated...

wish people would look at who they're shooting...

But you, no. Instantly because someone team killed you, or you them, the mode is "stupid"...no wait..."insanely stupid", to use your words

The people team killing are stupid, the mode isn't. The reactive player thing is bullshit. Friend or foe recognition is pretty much what those sorts of modes are all about, and no doubt the people on your team you're filling full of lead before you realise they're your mate, think you're a bit simple too.

If i have a team full of friends on CoD4/waw, i play hardcore pretty much exclusively, no doubt i'd do the same in KZ2. I tend not to do it if i'm solo, because you'll always get one nob in your team who just sprays anyone, doesn't deactivate matyrdom and kills his whole team when he dies etc etc. That doesn't mean i think the game mode is stupid, in fact in a good team its 10x more fun than the unrealistic situation where your teamates are magically impervious to your bullets. The fact you accidently kill your team mates now and then, usually becomes a bit of an object of mirth, "sorry mate" etc

Halo was bought up because every game mode in it has friendly fire activated, if it was "stupid", no one would play it. But no, its insanely popular.

If a fps came out these days without friendly fire mode it'd be laughed at frankly.

Honestly you have no idea how K2 is set out and plays, and way too many of the things your saying are unfounded because of that, you cannot compare it to gameplay like COD, it is a fair amount different.

I could list everything that is, but it would take too long(I'll list point out one though, picking out who is an ally or enemy for me right now is fairly hard, I'm having to play on an SD TV(Not overly good quality to play fast paced games on) and am also still getting used to alot of the game, ie; environments(Whether it is small or large too), the games pace, and even the team colours, the environments for alot of the game are dark, not to mention there is destructible environments, ash flying around in the air, sand flying around in the air, all sorts of stuff clouding your vision and mixing your orientation and do mix in with the team colours often, making it fairly hard to at times pick out who is who, then there is the cloaking that I have constantly spoken about which can **** you up something shocking)

And I'm talking about Friendly Fire as a feature, not a mode! I just dislike it being active, it makes it alot better a game experience(ESPECIALLY THE WAY KILLZONE 2 IS SET OUT) to have it turned off.

But Killzone is so realistic?!?!?

The campaign is, I couldn't care is multiplayer/online was the most unrealistic thing in the world, I mean you respawn after dying, that kills any realism right there.

Can someone tell me what the hell is going on in the MP??

I played Skirmish with BOTS and had no freakin idea what was happening.

It looked great and the aiming etc was better, but the game type kept changing.

Can someone explain?

What you have to know is that Warzone is basically the one mode, it is a changing gametype mode, you have I think 5 set modes(Deathmatch, Search & Destroy(Like the COD match types), Capture and Hold(Zones type match), Search & Retrieve(CTF type match), and one other I'm forgetting?), that can be edited by hosts as to how many of those are played, there is a time limit to each mode and once one finishes the next starts.

It takes a while to get used to, but keeps the game really fresh and completley stamps out things like camping and such(Unless your just playing in the 1 or 2 game types).

The voice over will tell you what you need to do at the start of each mode, and you will get objective pointers if your on an objective mission, so you will get used to it soon enough.

Seriously shotguns take no skill in all shooters. Just camp in the corner and wait for some poor suspecting soul to come around it and BLAM!

I'm sorry, I'm wrong, I love that there is a feature where you get to kill your team-mates and they get to kill you, makes the games so much more fun.

I might agree with you on these points if you actually knew how K2 played out and that any kill can severly set you and the team back, I couldn't care less what it's like in COD/Halo 3 etc. etc. I AM TALKING ABOUT KILLZONE 2.

The thing is you only have a set time to complete so many challenges, so quite often you are having to charge alot, it's not a sit back and wait type of game, we're hardly bad players, Camo has a 1.2ish K/D ratio, and I am only 8 kills away from 1 K/D ratio which should be rectified tonight, this is while I'm at least still getting used to the online mode.

Its not like a heap of people are getting together off line to work out a way to pick on him. If it was like that, which of course it isn't...that sort of thing is immature and completely not on.

Generally several people respond to HBK's comments negatively, because they all see how ridiculous they are. Its the internet, people recognise and will respond to someone who's posting garbage.

You say it could happen to any poster including yourself. Well it doesn't, does it? Because in general you are a pretty even handed poster who doesn't make stupid claims, and will concede a point if they are shown evidence to the contrary.

But seriously, enough of this stuff. It's an internet gaming forum, if people get their nose out of joint on a topic so trivial they need to HTFU.

haha yeh once you get the ribbons/medals scoring gets a lot easier

and yeh i joined into your match (through the join friend function) when your team was over double the team i joined's score....

i got 4 kills 0 deaths including blowing your head off twice lol

but yeh i left coz the match was only bodycount...i only went in to join you for a lil but it was shite...not enough people

i much prefer warzone.


my last match before dinner i had a 131 kills 56 death game
and guess what......IT DIDN'T D/C ON ME!
the closest kill amount on my team was 76-51...and even that is a ridiculous kill amount right there.


oh...and take a look at my streak now too.....so pissed at how it ended

my k/d is 1.46 (more like 1.5ish) and rising very very quickly


not at cod4 standards at all but it shouldn't take too long til i'm over 2 k/d i'd assume the way i've been playing last 2 nights

but as i've said before dying in this game is alot more common in general than in cod4 where you can regen to 100% health after a battle and there are far less players on screen

Daaaamn! How did you get 131 kills? That's a nice effort. My most is only like 40 or something.

I think my KD ratio has dropped below 1:1 as well. I only needed 10% of the kills in body count matches, so I was going for broke.

Which mode is that? Most gamertypes are 4 to 8, there's no 3 on 3's

I've noticed with some games that if you don't have the strongest connection and choose to play a game with less people in it a fairly weak connection can actually work well, whenever I get my net shaped for the month I can still play Warhawk(Only with a maximum of about 8 people in a match), that's with a connection of dial-up speeds, don't know if you've tried, but maybe just search for games with 8 or under people playing/allowed, maybe you will be able to get longer matches out of it.

I've just been playing warzone 32 player games (no wonder im getting lag )

Even with the lag online is so good, unfortunately i can't make this weeks clan event but definitely the next one.
