Even though we have moved to 2nd after the weekend - we could have spaced ourselves from the rest of the 8.

In fact, we are only one game clear of 9th and TWO games clear of 10th spot? We are in the fight now for a finals spot, instead of contending for top spot with the Pussies after our poor efforts against the Saints and now the Lions.

...and sorry, Geelong Fan Subi will always be an intimidating ground, it has been since 1987!

Against the Saints, you could see the Eagles had been through a heavy training block, they looked so leg heavy. The Lions effort however was a case of lack of mental attitude and a malfunctioning forward line.

I guess we should have seen the warning signs against Hawthorn earlier in the season - we had more than 400 posessions, more inside 50s, dominated the centre square and we lost the match.

Same with Essendon, we should have won that game by five goals at least. Again all the stat indicators said we should have won the game.

Even with Chad Jones not converting again last night like we have all season - another one of our issues is we cant kick straight and transfer our dominance of play on the scoreboard.

My real concern is I think we have a tougher road to the finals now than the other top 4 aspirants.

...and being brutally honest, we need to finish top-2 for a realistic crack at the flag. We need home finals.

If we beat the Dees, Blues and Doggs, and get 3/5 Wins from WC, Bris, Geelong, Hawks and Freo we should be there abouts the top 4.

Would probably swap the pies and saints. Surprised they made my top 4, but just called the games as I saw it. Expect a logjam into the 8 though. Cats - St. Kilda and Hawks - Eagles finals would be great though, almost hope my ladder predictor is correct.

Our form is good, we aren't umpire reliant and we win by more than a kick every now and then.

The issue of the majority under-rating our form/list has been a constant since Wayne's depature.

Evidently in the minds of the clueless, we're still bound to The King.

As I say, nothing of concern.

We win games of football. We don't lose to eventuate success we keep winning and recruit well (for the most part) to sustain it. Our record since 1993 attests to this.
