Whitnall was overlooked. Akuei looking like a KPD prospect if he works at it, but can play as a tallish general defender currently.

Has speed, but prefers to play in the air and through contact.

Skinny to the point where his leg speed is highly inconsistent. Like watching a very young Dustin Fletcher, though not as quick or rangy.

If he makes it to the rookie draft (probable) we can pre-list him then, so he uses our last pick.

If the progress continues, happy to take the punt on him, subject to us at least ditching McDonald & Parks. I want a higher grade young prospect to develop alongside that, though.

Derksen would have been fantastic, but the hype saw him go very early in the MSD.
Considering some of our F/S's have been overlooked the last couple of years because of covid-19, it's possible that we're letting them develop in the lower levels. IIRC, Tom Silvagni is about 19 as well and didn't nominate last year. Anyone know what he's been doing this year? And anyone got an update on the Hogg brothers and on Charlie McKay?

Charlie played for the Carlton VFL side in the exhibition match against the Fitzroy Cubs (U23 Indigenous and multi-cultural representative team). Looked too slow for mine.

Tom I've heard nothing about, Ben's been injured, Mackenzie Hogg is playing for Heidelberg in Div 1, and Darcy Hogg hasn't seen a game for Northern this year and might be lining up for Research JFC.

Lukas is really starting to grow now. Has started to lose all that pudgyness he had about him. He's 8 years or so younger than Jamie.

Jamie would be 19 now... is he still playing basketball at any decent level?

The whole F/S system isn't currently benefitting anybody other than the Dogs and the Pies right now. Former premiership sides aren't really rolling in prospects, you're better off with either kids of gun athletes and/or gun decision making.

Right now, yes, but from about the next five years onwards, we live in hope.

That's right... you have seen his back, but from a LM point of view, he's a forward (whom many * players will see the back of...)View attachment 1420166
Except when he plays for Norf, then he's a back. Except he's out of their side. So when he's back, he'll be a back. Meanwhile, he's back for us, so will be forward. * will wish he wasn't back.

De Koning & McKay, while would be great for us are never coming here...
It would be the equivalent of us giving away Weitering...

Casboult - While it sucks, cause we have so many injuries to tall's, it was the right choice to let him go...

SOS had his chance and really missed a potential star in De Koning...
