Crazy how many Australian horses there are in HK.
The ones classed PPs are the ones that raced here first and the PPGs are the unraced ones.
Out of all the names I only recognise about a dozen of them.

So what's the go with Caufield moving the Cup and the Guineas, is it just in hope of crowds later in the spring? Trying to avoid AFL doesn't make much sense because they don't tend to schedule many Saturday arvo finals.
It's all about competing for the punting dollar though.
I do wonder what the MRC are proposing with the rest of their carnival though as there are a lot of logical lead up races from P B Lawrence day to ultimately Guineas day
