Mega Thread Nick Daicos - Can he be the GTWEB? Part 2

Ok, so this thread has gone from bad to worse.
I could understand people trying to compare Nick with GAJ and a couple of other past champions and then the haters pick on the lack of contested marks, hit outs, or any other bottom feeding stat that can be found to attempt to bring him down.

Now people are trying to make an argument, that a player has had a better half a game, or a couple of quarters better than Nick .

Please stop comparing Max Holmes to Nick because it is embarrassing.

At 22yo, Nick is a three-time AA and Premiership player and is widely considered the best player in the game.
Not only by those in the know but by his peers.
Max has had zero AA and the closest Max has had to a win on Grand Final day is in the sprint.

Nick accumulated the same amount of Brownlow votes in his final 5 games last year, as what Homes has had in his career.

Max Holmes is a decent enough player but I'm sorry, he isn't even in the same discussion as Nick Daicos and all the BS farfetched stats won't change that.

Seriously "Max Holmes was the best player on the ground at the 20 minute mark" Give it a rest.

Also, on a side note. In that final against Adelaide, although Moore was BOG, anyone with a set of eyes could see as far as skill goes, Nick was on a different level to any player on the ground.

WalshistheGOAT's favourite game to criticise Nick was one where Nick broke the record for first possessions and had about 18 clearances and kicked two goals, but Bont also had a blinder with many judging him BOG. It's exciting. Expectations certainly have Nick tracking to be the GOAT. First player in the history of the game to be criticised for underperformance whenever they fall below BOG - even when he's 2nd or 3rd best by most judgements.

Yes everyone has their own opinions - which are just personal feelings, desires, or a particular perspective and can differ between individuals.

What is funny, is when posters than try to explain and validate their opinion and make it clear that their opinion is based on incorrect or incomplete facts.

I have the opinion that Naicos has the best start to a career of any player in the 21st century. My opinion is based on the knowledge that he already has 3 AA gigs, and has been top 4 in players MVP, coaches award in each of season 2, 3 and 4.

I am open to changing that opinion if someone can provide knowledge of a player in the 21st century who has had a better first four seasons.

The Cats-Pies shit fight over the last few pages made me wonder whether Mullin would tag Nick in a hypothetical GF if both teams were to win their prelims. C9 had a graph the other day of Mullin’s scalps after keeping McLuggage to a nothing game and it was really impressive (something like 10-15 touches for the likes of Butters, Richards, Callaghan). In R8 Nick still had 28d, 1g and 8 SIs and not sure when the last time a hard tag was applied in a GF was, would be an interesting watch.
