I guess Good Friday counts as a big fish.
In Hobart
Should not be playing footy on Good Friday. Can we have one day in the year we still respect? Whatever happens I will not be watching.
Great idea.Raise more money towards a great cause.Helping sick kids.Should not be playing footy on Good Friday. Can we have one day in the year we still respect? Whatever happens I will not be watching.
It would be fair to say a lot of people are interested in Religion...even Tiger supporters!...I am...A lot of people are not even slightly interested in religion - particularly me.
Rugby league play on good friday every year, have done for years - guess how many people are up in arms in Sydney & Queensland = bugger all.
If you don't want to watch then why should you be concerned about what others are doing?
RFC was founded by working class Catholics. If we are prepared to pay respects to indigenous culture then surely we can pay respect to our own and the traditions that founded the club in the first place.A lot of people are not even slightly interested in religion - particularly me.

Footy has zip to do with religion as does rugby.
Why...because you say so?!?Footy has zip to do with religion as does rugby.
And that is a fair point!RFC was founded by working class Catholics. If we are prepared to pay respects to indigenous culture then surely we can pay respect to our own and the traditions that founded the club in the first place.
And the Greens the Politicians and the Police your family your friends your relatives...strangers...so what?!?Yeah, I don't see how heathens going to a game on their day off is disrespectful either.
Pretty sure I do something that would upset some religious folks somewhere on most days.

Could you be more pathetic? Invoking sick children to bolster your argument just highlights how weak it is.It’ll be of more use to helping sick children than not doing it out of “respect”.
