Surely given the Essendon v Carlton game is a minimal chance to go ahead the AFL just moves the North v Hawthorn game to Saturday night instead of Sunday and play it from the MCG.

Both teams playing good footy and gets rid of the Sunday night game. I've heard the AFL considered moving the Richmond v St Kilda one but that makes sense to stay as fixtured to simplify things.

North lose a home game but it can be compensated later in the season.

Round 2: Geelong (Away)
Round 3: Richmond (Away)
Round 4: North Melbourne (Home)
Round 5: GWS (Away)

What a terrible ******* fixture.

How are Carlton playing St Kilda at the MCG in Round 5, yet Hawthorn play a home game at Etihad? AFL logic 101. :$

Because it’s probably a game you’d otherwise sell to Tasmania.
