Eels: The Eels came through their win over Brisbane unscathed so Brad Arthur has the luxury of naming the same 17-man squad for their shot at a top-four spot.
Storm: Tom Eisenhuth's season is over after he suffered a syndesmosis injury in the tackle that saw Lindsay Collins suspended for dangerous contact. Chris Lewis is the new man on the bench. Felise Kaufusi returns to the starting side so Tui Kamikamica goes to the bench. Josh King has been named to start at lock and Brandon Smith is on the interchange but they could well swap on game day.

Bulldogs: Enforcer Luke Thompson has been named among the reserves as he races the clock to return after missing the Sharks game due to COVID. Corey Waddell is back from suspension in the second row so Joe Stimson reverts to the bench. Tevita Pangai jnr returns on the bench after playing NSW Cup on Saturday. Harrison Edwards and Josh Stuckey drop out.
Sea Eagles: Youngster Kaeo Weekes moves into the starting side at fullback, Tolutau Koula shifts to centre and Ben Trbojevic to the bench. Andrew Davey and Dylan Walker join the starting pack with Ethan Bullemor going to the bench and Josh Aloiai dropping out.

Roosters: The loss of absence of Victor Radley (concussion), Daniel Tupou (groin) and Lindsay Collins (suspension) sees Siosiua Taukeiaho and Paul Momirovski join the starting side with Fletcher Baker and Terrell May the new faces on the bench.
Rabbitohs: Hooker Damien Cook has been sidelined by COVID-19 test so Siliva Havili again fills the hooking role. Centre Campbell Graham is out injured, replaced in the starting side by Jaxson Paulo. Utility Kodi Nikorima has dropped to the reserves list with Peter Mamouzelos taking his place on the bench.

Warriors: Halfback Shaun Johnson has been named despite suffering a calf injury against the Panthers. Euan Aitken (personal reasons), Jesse Arthars (quad), Wayde Egan (back spasms), Marcelo Montoya (knee) and Rocco Berry all return to the side with Viliami Vailea, Adam Pompey, Edward Kosi, Dunamis Lui and Taniela Otukolo dropping out while Freddy Lussick goes to the bench.
Titans: Centre Phillip Sami returns for the trip to Auckland after missing Round 24 due to a head knock. He takes over from Brian Kelly, who has been suspended for a dangerous tackle.

Dragons: Anthony Griffin has named the same 17 that got the job done against Wests Tigers. Veteran hooker Andrew McCullough (knee) has been listed among the reserves.
Broncos: Skipper Adam Reynolds has been named despite suffering a head knock against the Eels, while Thomas Flegler (throat) is also expected to play. Patrick Carrigan returns from suspension at lock and Selwyn Cobbo is also back after being rested in Round 24. Tyson Gamble is the new five-eighth with Ezra Mam dropped to the reserves list. Brenko Lee (hamstring) and Kobe Hetherington (head knock) will miss the game. Delouise Hoeter comes in at centre.

Cowboys: Playmaker Tom Dearden is listed among the reserves and is a chance to return after missing Round 24 following surgery on a ruptured testicle. Scott Drinkwater has been named at fullback and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow at five-eighth but 'Hammer' will go back to the bench should Dearden play. Forward Coen Hess will miss the game due to suspension so Reuben Cotter joins the starting side and Griffin Neame comes onto the bench.
Panthers: Coach Ivan Cleary has chosen to rest Dylan Edwards, Brian To'o, Stephen Crichton, Izack Tago, Taylan May, Jarome Luai, Moses Leota, James Fisher-Harris, Viliame Kikau and Isaah Yeo while Api Koroisau (ankle) and Spencer Leniu (shoulder) are also out. Liam Martin is named among the reserves and may make a return after he was rested in Round 24. Scott Sorensen is back from a calf injury in the second row while regular bench players Matt Eisenhuth and Mitch Kenny move into the starting side. Charlie Staines gets another run at fullback and Sunia Turuva is on the wing while Thomas Jenkins makes his NRL debut at centre as do Liam Henry and Jack Cole on the bench.

Knights: Anthony Milford is out with a rib injury so Phoenix Crossland starts at five-eighth and Chris Randall joins the bench alongside another new face in Jack Johns. Mat Croker moves into the starting side with Sauaso Sue dropping out. No sign of Kurt Mann (quad) or Mitch Barnett (thumb), with the latter having played his final game for the club as he departs for the Warriors in 2023.
Sharks: Dale Finucane is listed among the reserves as he looks to return from a rib cartilage issue that sidelined him last week. Winger Matt Ikuvalu is also back from a groin strain so Kayal Iro drops out. Connor Tracey (concussion) will be rested until the finals.

Wests Tigers: James Tamou returns from suspension for what could be the last game of his career so Zane Musgrove reverts to the bench. Ken Maumalo (groin) is back on the wing and Luke Garner has been named at centre in his return from a head knock. Asu Kepaoa and Junior Pauga drop out. Tyrone Peachey gets another crack on the bench, Jacob Liddle goes to 18th Man and Kitione Kautoga is out. Halfback Luke Brooks' season is over due to the calf injury that has sidelined him since Round 19.
Raiders: Winger Nick Cotric returns from a groin injury so Albert Hopoate goes to 18th Man in the only change to the squad that downed Manly to move the Green Machine into the top eight.

About 3 or 4 weeks ago it looked like the last few rounds would have very little meaning to it. I couldn't have been any more incorrect. Since then, Roosters have been on fire, Raiders won a bunch of games, Bunnies & Eels starting to hit their strides & the best one, the Broncos imploded.

6 out of the 8 games this weekend having meaning on the ladder and finals make up. Assuming Brisbane win, it will come down to the last game. Couldn't have asked for a better last round.

While some teams are better than others, the top 7 could all win the Premiership. Some teams would need some things to go their way. Like the Cowboys avoiding Penrith for example. And even 8th place Canberra (if they make it) will be playing finals with something like 7 wins from their last 8 games and have some form behind them. Probably one of the best finals series in a long time.

As for the bottom 8

Gone backwards - Titans, Knights, Eagles.

Gone nowhere. - Tigers, Dragons, Warriors

Improved - Bulldogs, Broncos.

Tigers have totally regressed. Absolutely no chance of doing anything whilst Teflon is coach

Should be some good crowds this round.

Reports New Allianz Stadium, Auckland and Townsville sold Out.

Should be good crowds for Parramatta, Leichardt and Newcastle also.

Yeah its a good result considering most games are dead rubbers.

Parra V Storm the big one. Top 4 on the line. So basically a final.

Raiders might be playing for a finals spot against Tigers depending on the Broncos result.

Affects 5-8 as well

Parra win, our game vs the utensils becomes a dead rubber.
Storm win, Parra play loser of our game, Winner hosts Canberra (more than likely)

Parra's biggest game since the 2009 Grand Final tonight.

Win tonight and i reckon they make the GF if they lose they will be out next week being stuck with Souths week 1 who own parra.

I can't wait to get too Commbank stadium it will be pumping tonight with 22-23k plus Parra fans considering our history with Melbourne fans wont forget or forgive after 2009.

Its time to beat the storm in such a crunch game something Parra hasn't done despite having a good record H&A record against them we just haven't beaten them when it counts even though some of those times we have been just plain unlucky.
