I only lasted until 3 qtr time but that was more then enough time to realise we are the worst team in the league.

1. We frig around with the ball, sideways, backwards, ANYWHERE but forward. This is due to there being no options forward of the play, nobody running to space.

2. We don't handball to create, we handball to 'get rid of it, doesn't matter if he's about to be spear tackled by 4 opponents'

3. Our kick-in setups both offensive and defensive are shocking. Daniel Bell and Wheatley regularly turn the ball over from kick-ins, and meanwhile, while we kick behinds, it's all too easy for the opposition to find a free man.

4. We don't hunt in packs anymore

5. Robbo and Chris Johnson need to be dropped ASAP as they are a liability to the team at the moment. Simple as that. Neitz is in the same boat, but you can't drop the captain can you?

6. We have no intensity at the contest, we just go through the motions and refuse to harrass and pressure the opposition. We refuse to put our head over it and back each other up. Where is the sheperding?

7. Aussie Woneamirri and Davey can hold their heads up high.

I am filthy about todays performance. :thumbsd:

While I agree with most of it, some of it I don't.

In defence of Neitz and Robbo the delivery was almost non-existant, it's pretty hard for them to kick goals if they have to go all the way out to the wing if they want the ball.

It's going to be a sad sad day when Aussie is put back on the rookie list.

Should have stayed for the last, we actually had a crack. Sure, North had turned off by then, but at least we had some improvement and the junktime specialist chipped in with a couple of goals.

You come to expect these kind of things now.

I just cannot believe for the life of me how bad our skills were. Sheesh...

If we play the way we did today we are going to struggle against carlton who has the worst defence in the league!

We might actually help the bastard blues snap there record of having 100+ points consistenly kicked against them at the moment because we are just not delivering the ball to our forwards properly.

Brad Miller - Champion.

Thank god he belted someone. He'll probably get rubbed out but evenso, as soon as he did he didn't stop running all over the park

What happen to your kicking skills? You where ok at that last season.

Ah well melbourne fans, just gotta keep playing the kids.

Also Nathan Carroll please just go crawl in a hole and never come out, you cannot kick, you cannot handball, you are an idiot and to top it off you look like someone supported Collingwood as a kid.
Considering his efficeincy(spelling?) was at 94% today your being very harsh there. Over the 4 rounds this year his efficeincy average is 86%. You would think that it would be one of the higher percentages at the club dont you think?

What is efficent about blundering into someone back and giving away goals. The guy is a full hack not back.

Daniel Bell needs to be dropped. Couldn't stand it today, the kid has no idea. He turns it over, has no awareness and gives away silly free kicks. Chris Johnson and Robbo can join him in the magoos. Today also showed that Paul Johnson is a mile in front of Mark Jamar.

lol this post has made my night.:thumbsu: Sadly true Super but I can't help but laugh.

I'll actually vomit if Johnson gets a game next week. Where the shit is Moloney?
yeah CD, C Johnson has had enough of a chance to show something and sadly he doesn't have it. Definitely one player I wouldn't be sad to see let go.

If he gets a game next week I owe you a beer RB. Just so frustrating how we really don't have the cattle at all. It's just a mockery

Get rid of Wheatley aswell, he may have got a shotload of the ball the last couple of weeks but he does nothing with it!

i could've sworn there was some undercover bribing ring going on with Wheatley and KFC. $100 for every effective kick to a KFC player maybe?

only because throwing the ball to a team mate that is under pressure just so you don't get caught yourself is deemed efficient.

as well as the stupid backward kicks in the backline.

I was one of the 23 odd thousand at the ground yesterday and here are my thoughts and observations:

It goes without saying, but what a setback. Did we spend too much time reading in the press about our 'honourable' loss to Geelong last week and about how Richmond are this weeks Rabble and think the hard work was done??????

Only two or three players could hold their heads high after yesterday but my best two were without doubt Davey and Wonna(sp?), with a few others putting in sporadic efforts.

Defence:
Wheels was back but was so underdone he is excused. He put his body on the line and dished out a few hits so for that he deserves a mention. Rivers was better for the run last week and we improve next week and our side is better it. Carroll has been a standout this year and contnued yesterday. To the peanut who said otherwise earlier, have you actually been to any games this year because Carroll has held the backline together and given how much of the ball they've seen, he has been excellent.

CJ and Wheatley are ordinary. Am I just wrong or imagining things but everything I read about Wheatley claims he's our standout and in the form of his life, but all I see is him turn the ball over resulting in opposition goals, seeling a teammate into trouble with an ill timed handball and trying to emulate Ryan Houlihan's recond for the most consecutive game without an opponant. As for CJ; well..... It's already been posted!

Forwards:
Do we have any????? I don't care what I hear, or what I read about his heart bleeding read and blue, but Robbo is not interested. His heart and his mind are elsewhere. Neita has been a fantastic servant of the club and surely one of our Legends but his body cannot do what his mind wants it to do. I love the great man and have watched him since he was a skinny kid at CHB giving Wayne Carey a towelling but this must be his last year.

Did Bailey and Miller read my post here http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?p=10472196#post10472196? Miller playing on the forward line, leading strongly, demanding the footy, throwing his weight around and hitting bodies suddenly looks like a good idea (Bails let me know where to send my resume)..... Yeah he got reported but there was nothing in it and hopefully the tribunal will be preoccupied with Barry Hall to worry about Brad.

Midfield:
A few years ago we had the highest tackles of any side. We heard how we trained with the Storm and how it improved our ferocity at the man. What happened? Are we now working with Melbourne Victory instead because our midfield has NO defensive pressure.

I did however take note that in the second and third quarters we had some unusual match ups in the centre square. At one point we had Jamar in the ruck with the square made up of CJ, Dunn and Aussie. I also saw Morton in at one stage. The game was gone so why not have a look at who else can find the ball.

In short, we are the worst team in the league. Will we win this year? Yes, eventually. I will keep the faith that one day I will be able to see us play in September again.....
