The Annus horribilis of scandals last year (The worst since Carey) and a big one expected this time around with some of the usual suspects having already delivered early.. what more to come?

Essendon rookie draft breach (The champs leading the charge again)

Saints set a midget on fire (It wouldn't be an off season without the Saints)

Campbell Brown breaks team mates jaw (Dayle Garlett watch this space)

Ahmet Saad 2 year suspension for drugs (Jobe Watson got a Brownlow)

Milne goes to court (Won't be be calling Malthouse as a character witness)

Last year exceeded all other years for scandals, in fact only the Carey scandal comes close.. but expecting a big off season this time around with some of the usual suspects having already delivered.. what more is there to come?

Essendon (what a surprise) rookie draft breach (Dayle Garlett watch this space)

Campbell Brown breaks team mates jaw (worrying when you have to publicly deny the CEO was involved in the fracas)

Ahmet Saad 2 year suspension for drugs (Jobe Watson keeps Brownlow medal)

Not even a patch on last off season.

Buddy Watch: Sex in Sin City

It hasn't taken long for Buddy Franklin to make his mark in the Sydney party scene.

The AFL's most valuable player took his off-season shenanigans to Sydney Harbour's exclusive floating bar The Island yesterday where fellow patrons say the AFL's $10 million dollar-man caused a spectacle - drinking and knocking over cocktails belonging to others.

And it's understood at least one female patron, who was celebrating her birthday near the footy star, made a complaint to bar staff after Franklin knocked over drinks on her table....

He was also seen engaged in a verbal stoush with another female patron, raising eyebrows among the flotilla of Sydney socialites.

"He was absolutely running amok," said one reveller who asked not to be named.

"He was throwing things at other people ... clothing, bags.

"Knocking over drinks and basically wreaking havoc.

"Staff were apologising on his behalf and just basically replacing any drinks that he knocked over."

And despite reportedly dating former Miss Universe Australia Jesinta Campbell, onlookers say the 26-year-old was looking "anything but a man in a relationship".

"He was chatting to loads of girls. Very young looking girls who looked like models - as many as 10," a source said.

The only reason he chose the swans over GWS was Jesinta Campbell... Will be interesting to see how he reacts if they ever split

Former Melbourne player Nathan Carroll has been charged with assaulting two men in Chapel St while drunk, King hitting one man to the back of the head, before continuing to punch him whilst on the ground and kicking his ribs in a violent drunken attack.

A dishevelled looking Carroll, who was not wearing shoes, faced Melbourne Magistrates Court on Sunday charged with five counts, including recklessly causing injury and being drunk.

The two men have suffered horrific injuries to the face and torso and were rushed to the Alfred Hospital.

Around the middle of Jan 2014 when the press are scratching for a story they will make up / dramatise a Swanny story. The press know that Collingwood sells papers better than any other team.
