Same comments as last year being made by illinformed people who have not idea what they are talking about and base their opinions on phantom drafts.

Let the kids play and then judge.

It is not about judging how good the players are, it is about judging the type of players the club should draft. Big difference.

Its my opinion.. its probably wrong and i hope it is... but I dont believe we have drafted what we require.. but im just a member... not on the coaching panel or within the football department.. so i dont have the intimate knowlege of the players we are drafting..

Read the post I replied to and get back to me. completely different topic all together. I have know probelm with people having an opinion on the types(as in size) of players we drafted. Having said that we did cleanout 4 or 5 talls so its not as though it should be totally unexpected.

Not tallish - 191cm, very tall.

Versatility has been the key - Both Goldsack and Reid are capable of playing just about anywhere on the field, while Nathan Brown can play back or forward.

We have gone extremely tall in this draft though - It goes to say that we must be confident in our young midfield stocks.

correct this is a forum and you are entitled to an opinion. It is a PUBLIC forum which means your opinions may be challanged. Not abusing you(and others) just reminding everyone that the guys who are paid to do this have much more of a clue than any of us and these same criticism's last year and 12 months later no one is complaining about our selections.

I think we should wait and see what happens before making comments saying these guys wont play for years when there is no way you could know this.

I am entitled to my opinion and I have stated it.

Hine was on SEN.

Says Reid and Brown are quick and versitile. Says Ben won't play next year and plays like Josh Fraser around the ground. Ried is very bottom age and Hine says he probably won't play next year.

He said they were mindful of the tall players going out, and thought they needed to sure up the spine, especially the back end.
