On the surface it seems to, I'm not sure what they've actually done under the hood. It's probably going to be the OS to be on for the next 5 or so years so you'll have to start using it eventually.Isn't it supposed to essentially be Windows 10.5?

I think I'll be sticking with Win10 for now including my new build. Will look at upgrading to Win11 in six months or so if there seems to be any advantages for a Ryzen build.I was planning on a fresh install of Windows over Christmas already. By then any potential gremlins with games and video drivers that might pop up should hopefully be ironed out.
Surprisingly, no. They've finally got their 10nm node working apparentlyis it 14nm++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Ah what a spew then. ~$2400 would have definitely been a bit more palatable. I might see if it drops below $2600 at some point.

is a monitor more than 60fps worth it
If you have a GPU that can push more than 60fps, and you'll be playing games on it - yesis a monitor more than 60fps worth it
whats the difference? I get how its more Hz but whats it like
It's just smooth, even just at a desktop level. I've got 2x 27" 144hz monitors and there's a noticeable difference from my old standard monitorswhats the difference? I get how its more Hz but whats it like
As a retro gamer that has gotten back into gaming with a new xbox I can't tell the difference.whats the difference? I get how its more Hz but whats it like
I first went from 60hz to 75hz and that was a noticeable jump. I then tried 144hz and whilst it was that extra bit smoother, I didn't think it was worth the cost.
Unless its somethign really obvious, like a side by side comparison of a crackling fire, I don't notice the difference bewtween 30, 60 or even playing rocket league at 120fps now. I will notice however if you take even one pixel away from my full HD or 4K resolution.
