So, can I have some clarification please?
Did supporters want Ken to talk more or to talk less ?
Because it seems either way you’re not happy.

Yeah. I don't care either way how much he talks. I won't be happy until he's gone.

Spent $200 for the gala dinner starting to think why did I bother ?

Some.

From a list of 45, we've turned over about 18 players since the end of 2018.

40% change of an entire playing list isn't just "some".
I guess you already knew that it was a bit of a rebuild then.

I'd like to compare the list of 18 players that left, and the 18 that came in.
Can you share names of the 18 in and out?

So what was he to do in the circumstances...talk less and you continue to whinge about him leaving early or talk more and you want him to stfu. Seriously fellas? You should listen to yourselves.

The substance is the issue, not how long he goes on for.

Bailing out as quickly as he can is bizarre no matter how you try to paint it though. If our neighbours did something similar, you'd point and laugh.

"His" horse is jointly owned with a number of Ports' players, Rockliff, Watts, Sam Gray (was a Ports' player when the horse was purchased), Lycett and Motlop. I doubt the name was entirely up to Hinkley.

I have heard that he has been pushing for co-jockeys however.

BTW, 4 starts for 1 win so Hinkley would be very happy with that.
'His' horse were Hinkley's words, not mine.

You'd have to be pretty incompetent not to know that it was.

Is turning over 18 players in two years that unusual though?

Richmond and Geelong turned over 18 players and Brisbane 23 in the same period and they were top 4 sides last year.

Nah, it's not that abnormal.

To go from loading up on senior players and free agents one year, to trading out popular middle agers the next is the odd part.

We went from thinking we were flag contenders to thinking that two of our most talented needed to go. Noone knows exactly when that decision was made and by whom.

It is when it guts your 22.

But that wasn't your initial argument, you said it was 40% of the list. Technically it's not anyway, it's more like a third seeing as you have to consider 9 new players after the first year in the denominator.

Anyway, I don't think there's been a rebuild. Maybe more a focus on restructure, but our turnover is no greater than anyone else's. It's not like we are a particularly youthful side which is the story they're telling.

That's the lie. It's a deflection from on field performance to justify some of the decisions that have been made.

Thanks for that.
We've done well. I just see gains.

Wingard was a shock, but then Rozzee unshocked me.
Polec overrated, overpaid. Duursma sorted Polec's departure out.

So they finally admitted what we've known for over 21 months is that they've attempted to do a rebuild while externally never being transparent about it.

Cool, everyone from Hinkley up should be forcibly removed from the club and replaced by a more competent house plant.

Lying dogs.

So are you unhappy that they have been trying to reshape the list for 3 seasons or that they didn’t come out and explain it in detail ?
