Mind you, having the rest week might make it easier for those out of the 4.

Even easier for those in the top four. The writing was on the wall for the crows when they played us in Gallipoli mode with more injurys than the ANZACS. Found out. Sydney has beast mode this year even if in a parrallel universe the clowns get near the last weekend.

As things stand I don't think anyone expects(as opposed to hopes) them to lose to North. Their likely opponent in an away semi would then be GWS which would be 50/50. But if they got through then they would have Geelong who I give them no chance against.

Collingwood gave it a massive crack today. I wonder if Bucks reminded his boys about Collingwoods 4 flag run. In the end Hawthorn's big game players and a little OPSM got them over the line.

Hawthorn have been involved in 4 games this season with a winning margin of 3 or fewer points, and have won all 4. Don't think it's luck. They have players that stand-up in real close finishes.

The way I see the final 8 is with the top 2 teams a level above the rest. Sydney and Geelong should play the GF.
Then there are the "maybe" teams: Hawks, GWS, Adelaide, West Coast. Hawks probably a step above the other 3 'cos Hawks but they don't look 100%.
And then we have two teams that shouldn't bother playing finals. Both the Dogs and North have fallen apart weeks ago.

In my opinion the only uncertainty is which two of Hawks, GWS, Crows and WC play the Prelims against Sydney and Geelong.
