Sidetracking a bit here but why are people tipping Fremantle to be premiers? I think the club needs to win more than 1 final before they get enough experience to even reach a GF. A lot of pressure on them this year and I just don't think they can crack it.

Tight 1st quarter nothing in it; freo to break away to a decent lead by half-time; Port chips away the deficit slowly but methodically; nothing in it midway through the final quarter; Port wins by 7 points in the upset of the season (so far). For some funny reason, I'm that optimistic. Go you beauties...

Lade palms down the ball straight into Burgoynes hands who rather casually strolls away from the oncoming Fremantle players, he weaves, ducks, bobs, even does the two step before passing to Ebert who drops the chest mark but the ball is picked up one handed by Krakouer & he snaps a goal. I expect to hear something like that if not then i won't be too disappointed but Port will be very competitive for basically the whole game but they might have a ten to fifteen minute lapse where Freo will bang on a few goals & that could cost us the game. A very competitive Port outfit will either just win or lose by around the 1-20 point range i think.

We'll be extremely competitive and do ourselves proud by staying in the contest for the majority of the game. At the end of the match, our possession count will be higher than theirs and our forward 50 entries will be slightly better, but we will rue missed chances in front of goal.
Ebert to kick 3 goals 3, with two of those points coming from very gettable shots on goal.
Cockshell to have 2 shots on goal both resulting in points.
Motlop to get plenty of the footy but somewhat mysteriously not to register a scoring shot

Best for us will be Dom Cassisi who will be battle his little heart out. Steve Salopek will get plenty of it, but will be shaded by the hard-running of Crowley.
Surjan to also have a good game. Krakouer and Rodan to play well.
