So much for bulking up in the off season.

Seems to be a trend with other sides. The new zone rules a factor?

KP players expected to run more than ever?

Yes, rule changes are having an impact already without a game even being played.

There will be a lot more running required by forwards and defenders than ever before.

6-6-6 starting positions gets all the attention as it seems like a Trojan Horse for permanent zones, but it only occurs for centre bounces and could be negated entirely by the change in regard to prior opportunity for ruckmen (i.e. if you don't like 6-6-6 just get the ruck to take direct possession and go straight to ground whereby a bounce will be called and players no longer have fixed positions).

It is the changes to kick-ins, however (option for immediate play-on upon signal of behind scored with increased protected area) that are radical and will have considerable impact upon how the game is played.

I'm expecting transition to become the commentary buzzword of 2019.

A forward line of:

Nic Nat Darling Hickey
Brander JK O Allen

With Waterman, Keegan and M Allen all rotating into the forward line.

That is a dream forward line and i cannot wait to see it in action.
Not tall enough.

So your niece got to meet Nicnat. Sweet

Did you find out when training was going to be or just take a punt they they’d be at Lathlain

I RANG THE OFFICE BUT THEY WHERE HOPELESS JUST SAID NEXT WEDNESDAY.
So just took the punt and luckly they where there.
Only people not training where McGovern and Cripps
They said McGovern went in for a operation.

Training went from 8.30 till 11.15am in very hot conditions.
First scratch match of the year, coaches where complaining they go too hard.
They was some crunching tackles and hard hits, and players really giving it too each other
After a tackle a double shove to the chest to player on the ground
Liam Ryan is training really well, after hearing Hackdorn's crap expected him to be bad, but he wasn't.

Matty Allen is training purely as a inside mid now.
When we left the ground he was leaving the same time and was parked next to us.
Also Willie says he wants a much greater mid rotation this season
Petch looked so clean with his ball use, think he is going to have a big year.
Also Francis Watson was good spoke to Daniel Pratt and Adrian Hickmont they believe
he is a chance for round one side if he can keep up his good training form.

There was a eagles wafl player in the match sim had hair in man bun/ ponytail and his foot skills
where very very good.

The training facilities being built in the background looks incredibly impressive!

Anyone expected time of completion?

The Waterman/Allen battle for Lecras spot is going to be delicious.

Only one of our young players who i still don't really see getting any games is Brander. Maybe they'll bring him in as a defender at some stage or if JK misses.
Wonder how long til Brander and Williams ask for a trade
