That was good fun to watch!

As always, when it's an "all played well" sort of game, I'm most interested in who our least well-performed players were. Walker was probably the one that stood out as being mostly ineffective, albeit he continued to provide a good ruck option up forward. Draper with only a quarter didn't get much chance to do much. Pedlar was only just alright. Hinge slightly down, if only because Keane and Worrell swallowed up everything back there. Fogarty slightly down but nailing two goals redeems him.

The thing that impressed me the most about that match was that Sydney didn't actually just roll over. For whatever it's worth, their "pressure gauge" was around 200 for the whole match. They were tackling hard, putting on pressure, winning the clearances, but we just muscled through it, applied even more pressure ourselves, and then took our chances when they came up. We won't always be that accurate, but if we can bring that kind of endeavour every week we will take some serious scalps.

Now the challenge is to bring it against a good side.

GOOD: 4 points AWAY + big % boost :D + immensely satisfying to clobber Sydney.
The way they won; tough, ruthless (finally!), kept going.

BAD: some things I really didn't like ...
...
Uhhh ... :expressionless:

Errr ... :think::think: ...

Nope, I got nothing.
FINALLY!

Yep Sydney turned up with higher pressure and tackle count than most of their games this year

Good - being at the ground.
Bad - having to leave the Giants game at 3/4 time and watching the comeback on the train.
Ugly - play being mostly on the broadcast wing opposite to where we were sitting.

Was mildly disappointed the players didn't do a full lap to acknowledge the supporters that were lined up on the fence two or three rows deep across the whole oval.
Keays made some effort to go around further than the others, and also visibly acknowledged the fans after his goal at our end.

Yep.
I loved it. Excellent AWAY win.

From Fox Footy: " At half-time, the Crows were +36 for points from turnover, +29 for points from clearance, +18 for inside-50s and recorded an elite pressure factor of 210.
ā€œIt’s quite incredible what we’ve just witnessed,ā€ Lyon continued at the main break.
ā€œThe pressure from Adelaide has been absolutely outstanding, and it’s selfless stuff. It’s the stuff that good sides are doing and executing all the time, and it’s the forward-half pressure from the Crows that’s led to this stuff (Sydney turnovers), handing the ball back, scores from turnover through the roof for the Crows..." ".

"Finally", is right.

How nice was it to see Heeney so utterly pissed off? He was not enjoying himself tonight.

Was at the game tonight, first time at the SCG. Was an awesome game to watch live, we were on from the start and Sydney were never a chance. I think that was our best game of the year so far.

It was a weird vibe at the game, the Sydney crowd were just having a great time, they didn't really care about the result. They were just happy to be there. Even when they were 10 goals down they were still celebrating every goal and even every point. Was a great experience being there especially with that result.

I can't find the post, but a while back I think I was worried that we'd be 5-7 with the games vs Brisbane and Hawks to come.
8-4, very good.
I don't mind having to eat my own words.

When I add it to the egg on my face and season it with our last 2 wins, it's delicious. :grinv1:

I ****ing love it when we win, big.
