• Brad Crouch treading a fine line. Will be better for the run but he was rusty as hell
• Mackay not super great after a decent-ish start. Toss up between him and McGovern to depart (okay on debut but not great). McGovern stays in as he's still developing and wasn't horrible
• Not selecting Hartigan is a huge mistake against tall forward lines. Just stupid.
• Van Berlo shit as usual. Needs to go.
• Knight great in the SANFL, comes right in.
• Milera wasn't amazing but he gets a second chance for a superb pre-season
• Cheney stays in. Great intercept mark and medium defender. Just don't play him on talls

Lyons in and VB out is an absolute MUST. Other changes need to happen but Lyons needs a crack and VB needs a spell. There is no point playing Van Berlo when he isn't going to offer as much as a youngster who has much more scope for improvement. This MUST HAPPEN.

If VB is selected next week I ****ing give up even bothering to write in these changes threads. He was a complete abortion tonight and most of last season. He's not an AFL player anymore and it's a disgrace that we're trying to dress him up as one.

Knight in for VB. Yeah they don't play the same position. Who gives a shit really. VB doesn't play any position.

See how Cameron pulls up after today and bring him in for Mackay if he's good to go.

Strongly consider Hartigan and Lyons too. McGovern under the most heat.

-VB: Unpolished, no turning circle, makes constant mistakes, go find some form in the SANFL

-Knight: We need his outside speed and had a blinder in the SANFL

Reckon Matt Crouch could get a week suspension for his bump. If he is out bring Lyons in.

Don't think it's a case of "find form" for VB anymore. He just might not be good enough for AFL football.

Play the long game. Cameron is best 22 everyday. Give him another week. Knight for VB... Hartigan for VB not fussed.


Let them get really hungry for AFL. It won't change anything in the long term either way.

We lost this because we made mistakes. They got a sniff and then finished us off.

I'm sure a lot of our fans think we would have won tonight if he played. Petrie and Brown weren't that great despite kicking 4 between them. Waite was very good though.
