Not really. 3 guys close behind him getting another sanfl game. Would be different if 1 of them came in for Milera or McGovern I'd reckon.

Didn't get a lot of touches last week but I was there.. MacKay was hard at the ball carrier and did "okay", he won't survive long though.
Knight and Cameron will be playing wing this year. Menzel will most likely start in the forward line with stints in the middle.

So we're going into round 3 with Knight & Cameron pushing hard, possibly even Menzel as well.

I doubt VB will ever return to the ones.
Should retire IMO. Give him his last game at Adelaide oval against Essendon.

In a very round about way it's really Cheney in for Van Berlo as Hartigan should've always been in, and Cheney will now assume VB's role (of turning it over?).

I'm happy with the changes. I'd love to see Mackay out but the fact is that his replacements aren't ready. After seeing Jets/Knight last week in the SANFL, I'm inclined to agree.



Teague on FiveAA: sounds like they are rectifying not selecting that other tall defender which didn't quite pull off vs. North.

Jets/Knight need another SANFL run.

Menzel knocking on the door too.
