Maybe a littleSurely you can enjoy the road along the way?

Stupid is as stupid does.Well that’s just stupid.
I think it got to 10-4 at one point after 2003.From 2000 to 2017 there was a 34 game stretch where the Power led (or were level) in the Showdown head to head. Do we sometimes forget that? A 34 game stretch where they led (or were level in) the head to head.
We now have won the last 5 and lead by 2 games, 30-28.
On 39 occasions they have led the head to head and we have only led 9 times.
thanks for this - always great to hear the call ins after the game. Is this available each week and how do you find it?ANB interview 16 minutes in
Bond is a depth guy. He's not some spectacular talent that's being held back. He's a role player who's waiting for a gap in the side.Right? Having a lockdown player’s going to be incredibly important against a team like the Hawks
It’s not like Bond’s some spud we’d be gifting a game, either
A role player… that has a clear role in the side open for him, with Max going out. For what he’d provide against Hawthorn’s smalls, I can’t think of anyone currently not playing that I’d include ahead of himBond is a depth guy. It's not gifting a game, but there's a bunch of players ahead of him, that's obvious.
Lol, if you didn't enjoy that game, then that's on you.Not until the job is done.
He doesn't have a clear role. We don't play defenders that don't have strong rebounding games. We also play strong structural team defense, not 90s man on man, which seems to be what you're suggesting Bond for.A role player… that has a clear role in the side open for him, with Max going out. I didn’t, previous posterthanks for this - always great to hear the call ins after the game. Is this available each week and how do you find it?
If it hasn't been mentioned, add Dawson to that list.Isn't it nice having some genuinely elite talents who you just know love smashing Port and who continuously turn up for it in Thilthorpe and Rankine?
You can just tell it means something extra to them.
Nice to have locals. Can't wait to add Draper to the mix.
That's my Butters take in nearly every game I've seen him. Volume of stats far outweigh the effectiveness.Medal Votes:
15 Riley Thilthorpe
9 Jake Soligo
3 Jordan Dawson
2 Zak Butters
1 James Peatling
Sarah Black from the AFL website gave Butters 2 votes which clearly indicates that she didn't watch the game, and just looked at the stat-sheet.
I don't reckon he was taken high in either of his first two free kicks. He just throws his body at the tackler and the umps fall for it immediately. That's my Butters take in nearly every game I've seen him. Volume of stats far outweigh the effectiveness.
Very quick and gets plenty of the ball, but over exaggerates the difficulty of the moment, throws himself and his head around, often unnecessarily bounces the ball as soon as he gets it ...look at me Ima play on! Also has the second most punchable head in the AFL.![]()
Yep on the Port board they’re lamenting the lack of impact of their father son players like Burgoyne and Mead
Had to feel sorry for Shaun Burgoyne as a commentator last night, having to watch that crap from his old club
Thanks will do![]()
I was being somewhat facetious.Lol, if you didn't enjoy that game, then that's on you.
Walker AND Tex? wow
Kept a decent AFL quality small forward Willie Rioli very quiet on Sunday while offering run and link up play, so much so Hamish Hartlett was forced to give Rioli a run in the midfield to get him into the game.. Bondy actually kicked a goal as well so he does get on his bike these days.He doesn't have a clear role. We don't play defenders that don't have strong rebounding games. We also play strong structural team defense, not 90s man on man, which seems to be what you're suggesting Bond for.
Cumming can step into defense and offers more as a complete footballer. Bond is improving his complete game, but there's still a few ahead of him.
