Talk all you want about injuries or umpires or whatever copium that you try to justify why we’re just getting lucky.

Fact is we support a team that turns up and fights to the death. You, on the other hand, support a club that preaches never giving in yet routinely lets teams have their way with them.

You hang your hopes on a coach who has been there for years now, who supposedly is going to upend the tea table and get you back to where you want to go. But until you weed out the masses of players who are conditional and flakey, things won’t truly change.

Good:
Our Backline as a whole were incredible Keane, Worrell, Bond, Milera were excellent.
Winning a tight one against the Pies, long overdue.
Most players had a moment of excellence.
Players would believe.
Max back training next week, will be cherry ripe for the first week of finals.

Bad:
Midfield badly beaten which led to the huge inside 50 discrepancy
Keane and Worrell were our two highest disposal winners - show you how much our mids were beaten up.
Our kicking seems off at the moment.

Ugly:
Nicks selections nearly cost us another win to go with GC & Haw that was lost at selection.
Roo pushing the narrative that Murphy was doing a shut down job on Daicos.
Murphy had ONE tackle for the entire game and only NINE pressure acts .
As a comparison our other smaller forwards Keays had 26, ANB had 18 pressure acts.

Murphys stats are not what you would expect of someone doing a shutdown role, he did Jack Shit without the ball, and he rarely got it.

I said in the GD thread that he's the one who should make way for MM when he returns. Bond hasn't put a foot wrong since he's come in with his tackling and mostly shutting his opponent out of the game.

I like Hinge, but he can be a real turnover merchant.

We gave them a 4 goal head start
And some crows supporters are still yeah nah still not sure we're a good side yet

We’ve won 3 games like that this year now. There’s always a bit of luck in tight games, but that only happens if you’re elite defensively and keep winning the big moments late in the game. We can win games in different ways now, can’t always just win with your firepower up front.

**** yeah we can win it, we sit a game clear on top, won 10 in a row at home and 8 in a row for the season. We will get two home finals. Anyone with doubts at this point has rocks in their head, ****ing believe!

So I’ll chuck this in - the revival of Wayne Milera has been huge.

This has been the Milera we all missed. His second half of the year has been outstanding.

What has your inside 50 record been over the season? Maybe that's why you struggle against the Cats. Cats definitely the biggest challenge in finals for you.

We average 49.4 against, AFL average is 51.5, so just above average. Geelong are just behind us at 49.2.
