AFLW LOCK OF THE WEEK

Now that the AFL minor round has been completed its time to introduce a "Lock of the Week" for the AFLW competition. We know that there are only 10 minor rounds but its hoped that our AFC supporters will participate and make this as popular as the same competition currently in place for the AFL men’s competition. It is hoped that our female supporters will participate along with our male supporters.
The structure of the competition is the same as what we have for the men’s competition with the rules detailed below but before we get to the rules I have given some information regarding the first round of games.
Rules:
It's like tipping except you only pick one team each round. You can choose any of the nine games to tip a winner. Select your winning team - your "lock of the week” (hence the name of the competition). If your selected team wins you progress to the next round. If they lose you are out. If it’s a draw you are out. However, you can only pick a team once during any game.
Last person left standing wins that game and naming rights. Given that there are only ten rounds in the season it is possible that we will only have 1 game for the season. If we still have eligible participants at the end of the minor round, we will play into the Major round in an attempt to find a Champion. If we have no outright winner at the end of the major round, then all remaining participants will go into the broom closet.
Once we have a winner of the game, we can restart with all teams again being available for selection.

Broom Closet: The broom closet is when there's no outright winner and all remaining participants either bomb out at the same time or in the case that at the end of the season those still remaining will be placed in the broom closet Hall of Fame.

Submitting your entry
Post the team you think will win in this thread. Include your previous selections in the game. Add your selection to the selection(s) made by other posters before yours. Also please recheck your post to ensure you haven’t accidently deleted other posters selections. To be fair to everyone all selections must be in prior to the first bounce of your selected team.

If I forget to pick by the first game of a round can I still enter and choose from one of the other games?
Sure why not but make sure your selection is in before the first bounce of that game.
If I miss a selection for any round does that mean I am out?
Yes, however once a game has its champion we will start a new game and everyone can re-enter.
