Players a bit fumbly below knees like in the Port game
Allowing the Giants extra number in defence have too big an impact and then Tonon in defence had no help from any other Crows defender. Keep up the intensity and still should bust the dam wall, quality in the middle went down when Allan and Ponter were rotated out of the middle.
Defence is a worry. Somewhat disappointing quarter actually outside of the fast start.

Run off halfback from Giants not being stopped, crows half forwards are not the quickest which is being a bit exposed.

Jess Allan is generational, looks a different player under Clarke.
In that lead up to Varnhagen’s goal reckon Gould dropped a voucher or something for mark of the year, probably doesn’t have the same ring to it as “dropped a car”.

They showed signs against Richmond last week but this is the best this GWS team has played in 3 years.

Yeah feeling the no Sarah Allan the most so far today, think the youngsters have been totally confused by the matchups as the GWS forwards have switched positions a lot, sometimes lining up deep centrally then at half forward then swapping with the wings.
Mueller, Tonon and Goodwin all having stinkers, a lot of non-natural defenders back there especially Tonon and Goodwin.
Need more from Charlton.
Reckon Ballard and Martin need to stop playing so much chicken with their opponents - trying to expose them on the way back on turnover but also are being run off far too easily when GWS springboard their attacks.

I know we disagree on her cmndstab but surely you can see Ballard is having a poor one today.
Goodwin as well, is far too weak and pushed off the ball too easily to play a defensive post.

I'm getting annoyed at how often GWS are able to get marks inside 50. Defence needs to tighten up. Was really happy to see Randall go behind the ball again to help out, she's so valuable there.
Varnhagen is as slow as a wet week, but the one thing she's always been good at is converting in front of goal. I reckon they should play her forward.
Hatchard doesn't look right today. Not a morning person?
Ponter, Kelly, Allan and Marinoff probably our best so far.
