Watched storm last night.

The good - nice to see ground level contests where umpires don't interfere and the sport isn't hyper-reactive.

The bad - the umpires worked overtime trying to get Canterbury over the line. The Billy Slater penalty... ffs..

I can't stand the anti Storm bias of there commentators either!

F ....... k!!! It was insane eh? AFL bends over backwards for its expansion markets. NRL seem hell bent on seeing theirs fall over (again).

Ray Warren can hardly contain himself when a NSW team fires - even if it's from a compensation penalty.

Nine commentators hate Storm more than I hate Collingwood. Its an absolute disgraceful display of bias every game. Refs did their best last night to get Canterbury over the line. I couldn't work out if they were cheating or incompetent. Slater's report and the disallowed try for interference. FFS. Absolute bulltish.

He hates the Storm more than he hates the ****ters in the Federal Labor Government!

the Storm are an incredible team - they arguably have the greatest League player in the world playing for them (Billy) and Bellyache and his unbelievable achievement of resurrecting them from the dead would be lionised by our AFL commentators - Bruce would bust a nut over Billy!

That bullshit penalty reversal and report, which has since been thrown out, was a huge momentum changer. The obstruction ruling when Cronk scored was another howler.

It was there TT. New rule that the decoy can't make any contact with the player whatsoever. Changed this year.

Correct, and a bullshit rule change. Obstruction, however slight, was made to a player with zero chance of affecting a try saving tackle with Cronk miles away and running further away. I bet KB loved it anyway.

The stupid bitch is at it again, such a ****ing boring sod she is. Just. Let. It. Go.

Eugene Arocca did not take part in the conversation which hammered another nail into the coffin of his position as chief executive of the North Melbourne Football Club.
The exchange took place just over a year ago, between the club's recruiting manager, Bryce Lewis, and Terri McDonald, the wife of the Kangaroos' football boss, Donald McDonald, and the mother of the prodigiously talented footballer Luke.
Lewis was attempting to set up an appointment for the Oakleigh Chargers' left-foot sensation to visit the club. Mindful that Luke could be taken as a 17-year-old by Greater Western Sydney and then on-traded to another club under the AFL's one-off rule created for its 18th club, North was determined to secure the teenager one year early under the game's father-son rule.

There's the Etihad buy out, and Carawhine's pending dea, er, retirement, that I eagerly await for the betterment of my club.

It's just a boring article, beat up, that's designed to take the gloss off such a beneficial event for our club. It's sour grapes plain and simple.

Resurrection.. They cheated. Slater's been getting away with campaigners acts like this for years.

So from what I can gather:
-Donald had nothing to do with Luke's decision over managers, contracts etc
-Luke wanted to go to North and told his manager in no uncertain terms that (Why the **** would the Pies and co advise him to go to GWS??)
-The club has not dealt with this particularly well in terms of media/publicly
-The club ended up losing Arocca through other reasons
-This 'football politics' Wilson alludes to near the end of the article, almost implying the club and Luke has done something illegal (why else mention the 'personality to deal with these allegations') seem like bullshit

LOL. I read that article as Caro (WTF?) and towards the end it sounded like she was yelling angrily aloud to herself. Someone finally please call the CAT team ffs

She's already way ahead of you, taz.
