A theory about 'global warming', as the worlds population gets older and people live longer wouldn't it be better if the planet warmed up a little bit, old people often head to warmer climes in winter because it is good for their health, do scientists have the health of our grandparents at heart when trying to 'save' the planet from over heating?

Now I'll probably offend roughly 50% of the population with this, but today I happened to wander past one of those places where those of the female persuasion get their nails attended to. Half a dozen clients lined up side by side and opposite them half a dozen (masked) attendants, busily attending to their clients nails. Vacuous expressions on the (unmasked) faces.

Why would you waste your money on such a truly (in my opinion) unnecessary activity? Maybe I'm off the mark here but as far as I'm concerned painted and/or false finger (and toe) nails doesn't do anything to improve anyone's appearance.
