If Bolton is considered to be our best match winner, and most talented player as people keep saying, why have we lost 25 of our last 37 games?

They guy is on 850k a year and plays 4 good games a year. He fumbles picking the ball off the deck and he butchers the finish.

All he is seemingly interested in is his highlight reel.

His 2022 was elite. Since then hes been disappointing. Seems to play well whenever Dusty isnt in the team, both times this season + all of 2022.

But yes, I couldnt see us ever winning a final with Bolton as our best player.

Lol absolute dribble. He had twice as many clearances as any other player on the ground and more contested possessions than any other player too. I'm not sure how you can say he gives not much else when he also had 2 marks inside 50, 5 rebound 50s and a goal. Plus that run down tackle to prevent a score.

He literally did everything today. The problem was he was the only one.

Short another typical game. Useless receives into long bombs to no advantage. The definition of a stat padder. No defensive effort and shit turnovers. Trade him to GC before others realise the truth.

Dow was putrid. Horrible pressure rating and not 1 good kick the entire game. Play MacAullife ahead of him FFS.

Why the **** would Yze hold a great inside mid like MacAuliffe until there's only 20 minutes left in the game? We were getting SMASHED in the middle with the exception of Taranto. 8 clearances. Next best was 3.

Sonsie is lucky those 3 were so bad or he'd be on the chopping block. Another player being played well out of position. He's not a ****ing HFF. He is a midfielder. Play him there. He managed 2 clearances from 0 centre bounce attendances. He got them from throw-ins. Imagine if we had tried him in the guts. We might not have been shit on all 2nd game for clearances.

Now the positives.

Great turnout by the fans for a champion. 92k is amazing.

Thank **** for Taranto. We'd have lost by 100 without him. Great pressure, in and under, gets clearances, runs defensively. Sure he has a weakness with his kicking but the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Seth Campbell was fantastic. 1 touch player who made every disposal count. A complete lock in the 22.

Nank continued to try and beat Meek who's having a good year.

Vlastuin continued his solid form. Miller was better than most are giving him credit for. I never panic when he has the ball. A lot smarter than plenty in our team.

Hugo continues to run his heart out and make good decisions. All I want is improvement year on year, and he's giving it.

Balta needs to stay down back. Did well considering the amount of ball that was easily flowing into our D50.

Don't want to lose Rioli. It's clear he cares. Short and Graham fan **** off before him. They're taking a kids spot in the team.

Someone needs to cut it out asap. Forget asking us to buy and clean bricks, clean up the on field trash first. Everything about the club is suss af and the spectre of dimma is still haunting the halls
