Kreuzer is ok, injuries have probably held him back from what he could be. My point was more that the number 1 draft pick hasn’t gotten them off the bottom.I actually like Kreuzer, one player club, very loyal and not a bad player over the years.

I'd have thought Phillips was more vulnerable than Crocker.
Wasn't there talk about carrying an injury? Can't remember the story.
Nah ...
... it would appear that Frankston are even worse than Northern Blues.
I meant North Melbourne.
The ladder, to complete Round 1...

Williamstown and Port Melbourne finding themselves in unusual territory, down among the rubbish.
It's not often that you can put on 201 points in Round 1 and still not finish the opening split round on top of the ladder. The suburb of Frankston, once again, lets the rest of us down...
Port Melbourne next week for us, who got touched up by Richmond in the Grand Final re-match. Win that and we can go into the ANZAC Round clash with Essendon with a head of steam, as opposed to just staggering in and getting blasted off the park, as has happened in recent years.
How can we be below Bombers when we had the Bigger Win?
Its how percentage works
If you win 100 to 50 your percentage is 200
If you win 150 to 100 your percentage is 150.
Same margin but the lower scoring game generates a bigger percentage
It's just how the percentage is worked out. There's a very good explanation near the bottom of the previous page. Timmy's is okay as well! It's not always about the margin, the scoring ratio is very important. If we had scored 40 points to the opposition's 10 points we'd be top (400%)!How can we be below Bombers when we had the Bigger Win?
So it more about your Opponents Score more then your Score?

Barracked for Collingwood as a kid.Bit of a stretch calling Kreuzer a one club player when the only reason for that is he failed the medical when he wanted out.
Seems like a likeable enough bloke though.
I know. It would be a tragedy to see such a talent go to that steaming pile of dung they call a club and inevitably be wasted.

I think Brisbane should space the field for the #1 pick barring Carltank going full tank.

How much better does Gibbs suddenly look at Adelaide?
Just wondering if you know... When Kruezer failed his medical with us, was it the same doctor wot did the Steve Johnson medical by any chance?Bit of a stretch calling Kreuzer a one club player when the only reason for that is he failed the medical when he wanted out.

Carlton and Collingwood dine at a pizza restaurant. They order a family size pizza with all the extra toppings (71 points + 201 points = family sized pizza with all the extra toppings).
The pizza comes out cut into 12 slices. Collingwood eat 9 slices and Carlton eat 3 slices. Collingwood clearly wins. And eating 9 slices of family sized pizza with extra toppings is an extraordinary effort.
Essendon and Frankston turn up and sit at the next table, but they only order a standard medium sized pizza. The pizza again comes out cut into 12 slices. Essendon eats 10 slices and Frankston eat only two slices. Essendon wins, Frankston is a cheap date.
Percentage is all about how many slices of the pizza you eat.
It doesn’t matter how much pizza you eat (Collingwood ate more pizza because 9 slices of a family pizza with extra toppings is more pizza than 10 slices of a standard medium)
The fact Essendon gulped down 10 slices of their pizza and Collingwood only managed 9 slices of the pizza at their table means that Essendon ended up with better percentage.
