Yes considering Freo were in control of the game.

My mate flew back on the same flight and said Fyfe was on crutches and looked very propy.

Ankles are one of those injuries that often come right during the week with physio and RICE. If it was a bad injury, he would not have come back onto the field (see Michael Walters).

I'm in no way implying it's a long term injury but it would definitely minimise the problem.

Crutches are precautionary and it's a bit hard not to look happy when you use them.

This is the second time that I have seen the Gablett jnr comparison.

Fyfe's ankle was suspect before the game as he already had it strapped. As he was playing with it anyway, and played on after tweaking it, it's obviously something the medical staff believe they can manage. He should play.

No, I don't want to shoot him, nor do I want to delist him. However a good kick up the arse would be handy.

The comparison was made with Hill earlier in the thread, and even though Stephen was shirking some contests and not dominating a game at all at the same stage, blind Freddy could see that he had abundant talent. Mundy was the same. You got glimpses of undoubted talent. I can't comment on Mitchell, but I would be highly surprised if it wasn't the same.

I'm just waiting for something, anything, from Sheridan and Crozier to translate good WAFL form to AFL form. I'm not expecting a miracle, but what I have seen is below par and extremely disappointing.

I challenge anyone to highlight a passage of play at AFL level where an independent judge would say, "holy shit, that Sheridan kid is good".

We have seen it from Simpson already, and plenty of other younger kids who were selected at similar stages of the draft by other clubs. Yet not a thing, not a single shot fired by Sheridan at all.

Yet all we get here are excuses.

Yeah I think so. I would imagine Sheridan will have a few things to work on in the WAFL so unlikely to see him again for a while. I think you can add Crozier to your list, but I would like to see him dominate WAFl for another three weeks before re-consideration.

I really can't see us getting less output from Sylvia or Mora so maybe it is time. Grey is the exciting one by the sounds but isn't he really just getting used to WAFL level let alone AFL, but great if he is ready. Silvagni is the other one of course who might just slot straight back in depending on match ups (that actually sounds more like the RTB. Way).

Grey is like a De Boer type player. Sylvia and Morabito are the more attacking type role so Grey would most likely be overlooked.

I just figured they were wrong like they are about most other stuff. Every time someone does an ankle you see them come off to get it re-strapped.

AFL clubs seem to love chucking a kilo of strapping tape on every joint they can, I'd be surprised if they were happy for their expensive investments to go out there without their ankles done.
