Wells is the one, without him they are very 'same same' through the midfield. Jacobs is a good stopper, but the best mids still get by.
Higgins is always injured, but good when not and Waite was held goalless for a few weeks before his injury. North are heavily reliant on their older guys to succeed and it'll cost them.

To be fair, it's north. Anyone under 30 is considered promising youth.
Jacobs taking contested marks and stopping Goldstein taking his own cannot be underestimated either. Round 1, Jacobs had 1 and Goldy 4 (with 3 in the last quarter). This week Jacobs had 3 and Goldy 1.

They showed him having a dip at him on the screen at the game. The kid will get seriously hurt doing it
Goldstein is playing injured ... which goes against Norths 100% fit policy. I think they will finish 7th on top is west coast. Those 2 places seem set.
Goldy being injured is the North supporter theory however club and player have said that this is not the case

We said Tex wasn't injured early on too.
He's been in doubt for some games, it's pretty clear he's injured unless all of a sudden you think the best ruck in the Comp for no reason is out of form.
No club uses injury as an excuse. It's just as embarrassing admitting you don't trust the next man up as it is using it as an excuse for poor form.
