Surely Short cannot just walk back in. No chance. He was out of touch before his injury, must be training the house down.
Naish was average last week, a bit timid at times. He will get there, but nowhere near best 22 right now.
Balta out and Chol stays hopefully. Balta is out of touch and needs to play some football at his level.
Good in's, Saints drew the unlucky straw.
But Short has been named on the field. Which usually means is the guy is playing.

Please, two lucky wins over GC and a 13 pt win over carlton fill three of those wins, good teams have belted them of late. They are not beating us.

Beat the Drugs, Hawks, Dees before they were hit by injuries and only lost to Freo by a goal. Since then shouldn't be judged. Just like we shouldn't be. Who have we beaten of note? All I'm saying is Richo deserves some slack and they're not as awful as some are saying.
No doubt we should win and win well but if we don't turn up....

23 disposals 11 tackles 6 clearances for Graham against Adelaide and people are suggesting he is out.
with so many quality mids slotting straight, in where does JG play? reckon either houli or short or lambert wont be risked and if its short then menadue plays ahead of JG, If lamberts missed jack will play and menadue misses. SO many options, will be our best side for ages what ever happens :)

Cotchin & Lambert will both be lacking match fitness so having Graham who was one of our best last game when allowed to run and hunt the ball takes some pressure off of them.

Jack Riewoldt, knee

“Jack’s progressing really well. He’s currently running close to top speed and doing change of direction, he’s started some jumping as well. He’ll start some drills with the group early next week and then we’ll make an assessment as to what game we’ll target but we’re only a couple of weeks away, we think, from Jack returning to match play.”

Toby Nankervis, adductor tendon

“Toby’s progressing really well. He’s running close to top speed, he’s doing some change of direction. What we need to improve still is his strength, left leg to right leg strength. Given the original injury, an adductor tendon avulsion... we need to get that strength back to 90-100% before we take that next step with that contested work. We’re a couple of weeks away from resuming that we think, so it’s probably looking somewhere between the three-to-four (week) mark before we see him back on the park.

Jack 2 weeks away, Nank 3-4. Ross roughly 4 too.

Oppo clubs shitting pants.

Their crap and they are lucky they are not 2-11 or 3-10 at best and sitting last.

reckon jack graham is in our best midfield. we need his tackling and pressure to stop the oppo mids just waltzing out with the clean clearances all the time. even with the rest of our good mids in he has a place i reckon. if houli and sstack are playing then menadue and short can play vfl

AFLWankley too introduce a 17 game minimum for players to qualify for finals.
Out:Cotch,JR.Rance,Nank,Lambo,Short,Ross.

Lucky 1pt and 4 pt wins over GC and a 5 pt win over the hawks, lose those and they would be 3-10 so no lol wtf, so like i said, they are lucky they are not 3-10 and sitting 17th or 18th.

Could have beaten Freo and been 7-6 with Steven, Carlisle, Geary, Lonie, Roberton, Webster, Hanners actually getting on the park as well. What a silly remark. I wouldn't call St Kilda lucky this year. They've been cruelled just like us. Pies aren't the only ones with injuries guys lol
