Agree he has to play mid. Recruiting 2 pure mids in Hopper and Taranto has made it hard for him though as they arent going anywhere for a long time. So there is really only 1 more pure mid spot at most which has obv gone to Prestia. I would love Dow to force one of the other 3 out, its nearly impossible for that to happen unless he plays every week.

Unfortunately our defence didnt improve last week without Grimes there, which we were all hoping it would. The only time our defence has looked good this season was when Vlas was on fire midyear. Would assume other teams went to work on that to shut him down.

Grimes back this week makes our defence so much better , hopefully performs better than his last game.

Perfect opportunity to give Sonsie a run. Has way more upside than Dow.

But I guess giving Dow a full game in the middle in place of Hopper gives him one last chance to see if he's worth keeping for another year.

The list management isnt minis fault. Bringing in Taranto and Hopper, while Prestia has somehow stayed fit, makes it impossible for Dow or Sonsie or any other kid to get a fulltime mid spot. They are only going to get flanker roles or one off games.

Again going with Nank and Soldo hasn't work we don't change it and bring Ryan no idea. Should have gave Sonsie last 2 games of year he hasn't been bad at vfl.
