The ins we have all been asking for Nank, Short, Cumberland, Bauer, and Coulthard what's not to like, good ins.
On the outs, we expected most of them to go out. Sam Banks has looked good the last two games and I know some are disappointed but he was always going to go out for short, understandable team selection. He looks like a long-term player.

For me, the big one is Dusty to rest him after that fantastic game last week im a little perplexed, as we are needing to win our next 3 to make the 8.

Banks or Mansell as sub. Probably Mansell

On CPH2483 using BigFooty.com mobile app
would think clarke or mansell would be the sub

wing/hbf/mid injury or sub means baker/pickett would rotate out of the fwd line and clarke/mansell would plug in up fwd and if a fwd gets injured/subbed then clarke/mansell makes more sense than banks

or if a key back gets injured/subbed we can swap bauer/macca down there and rotate other players around

Dusty rested is a huge out. This is probably where the club has to get smarter managing our senior players. We were always likely to lose against Melbourne, so should have taken that opportunity to rest players.

Now with a vital winnable game we’ve probably tipped the scales in the Bulldogs favour by resting Dusty this week.
Nah we took a risk against the dees and, with 20 more minutes of good footy, it would've paid off.

No point just scraping into the 8. A win against the dees would have set our season up.

Mate please stop sugar coating it we got our 👖 pulled down with the Hooper deal say it how it is.

He is definitely worth a 1st rounder. 10-18 (former pick 7). Throwing in pick 31 wasn't ideal (he had a year to run on his contract), so we had to pay a little overs (pick 31 ended up being 34) but geez it aint the end of the world, remember we gave up pick 19 for Yarran (2015), didn't play a game in 2016 but we then went on to win 3 flags, not long after.

We at least got two picks back on the Taranto/Hopper deal, most of us weren't expecting any picks to come back. We picked up Green and Smith.

Jacob Hopper - The inside midfielder missed a large portion of last season (2022) with a knee injury that required surgery. He is a quality player, as evidenced by his selection in the 40-man All-Australian squad in 2021, a season in which he polled 15 Brownlow Medal votes. He became a Tiger alongside former Giants teammate Tim Taranto.

#49 Kaleb Smith (Small Defender/Midfielder, East Fremantle/Western Australia)
#55 Steely Green (Midfielder/Forward, South Fremantle/Western Australia)

Pick 49 was the Tigers’ first point of call, having essentially put their feet up on night one of this year’s draft. A West Australian bolter was in the offing, with East Fremantle speedster Kaleb Smith landing at Tigerland in the third round. His line-breaking ability from defence and potential to also swing forward piqued the interest of many clubs, so Richmond would have been thrilled to see him remain available.

The Tigers stayed in Western Australia for their second selection, just six picks later. South Fremantle midfielder Steely Green was their man, and is very much a Richmond type of pick in terms of traits. He’s small but tough, clean at the contest and versatile enough to play a range of roles. Having taken up footy later than most, he still cracked the senior WAFL grade and has improvement left.

Mansell makes the most sense. Plan A would be for him to replace Soldo for some extra run up forward late, but can also play back or on the wing if injury strikes.
