I get what you’re saying, but what we are doing now is just not working. We haven’t played our strongest team at all this year due to injuries. We need to give it a go.

We've seen it for 6 years at Geelong. He plays pretty damn well with a good coach. That's why we recruited him in the first place.

He's a Motlop. Talent is there for sure. But inconsistency and lack of desire to get going when the going gets tough is the problem.

I personally think he should be played closer to goal. He's a natural goal sneak yet we are using him to try and create play further up the ground where his lack of defensive nous is getting exposed on turnover.

Yep. I like Eddie as a person (when not playing us), the party boy turned good, but FFS can we just once before he retires have him leave the field bruised and battered from the close attention? He might as well be playing touch footy for how 'close' we check him.
