Liking the game of Frampton, a few mistakes but he's clunked a few marks and helped run it out a few times, 11 possessions and four marks. McInnes has taken his chances, like the fact that he is a threat when the ball is on the ground. Schultz should improve with each week, taken 5 marks and kicked a good intercept goal.

Starting to miss Noble's run and carry our of defence and might be time to give him a game over Oleg, IQ got going that quarter and was better. Howe quiet, Maynard awesome. Jordy can lift as can Sidey. Josh having a good game although his brother has turned it over a bit tonight, not his tidy self. Bobby needs to lift, McCreery's defensive work again important. Crisp relatively quiet again.

Who comes off for Fin?

In: Finn, out: De Goey

Our midfield is woeful right now. Nick isn’t being damaging. Crisp fumbling and handing off to teammates in poor position.

We’re lucky to be in it tbh
I feel Titch needs to be subbed. His opponent is too fast for him. Both he and Pendles have been 10m behind their opponents. We have lifted collectively. Crisp needs a fire cracker. Cameron has been good around the ground but we have not had a CC when he has been in the middle. Reef playing with intent.

St Kilda 20-8 Collingwood.

Does Leigh Fisher have a conflict of interest umpiring St Kilda games ?

I think there should be some questions asked. Wasn’t he the closest umpire when McCreery got front on contact on the goal line, but turned a blind eye.
Yet St Kilda have had about 3 front on contact frees!!!

Seeing Frampton down back actually play like a professional is such a breath of fresh air so far this season.... Charlie Dean is an amateur by comparison.

Reef going hard into contests and taking his chances at goal shots is also another good thing. AJ just looked so timid and soft into contest... also not using his athleticism and agility but trying to play like he's a KPF when he's about 3 inches too short and 15kg too light.

Good signs end of that half, pressure is up. Hopefully we can will our way to a win and reset for the season.

How does an ex st Kilda player that played under Ross Lyon in 2010 become an umpire. Would it happen in any other comparable sport?
No issue with him becoming an ump. We need them and ex players are the best candidates.
But those ex player umpires should never umpire games in which their former team(s) or coaches participate.
It’s not hard to engineer.
